Calamari was great as was veggie pizza I refused to go back to Cabo Wabo which was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had and terribly expensive. So I was wary of Lombardi’s even though it was recommended at Planet Hollywood. It seem there are fewer and fewer choices in the Desert Passage /Miracle Mile mall. I’ve seen places like Hawaiian Tropic and Trader Vic’s come and go. So Lombardi’s would stand out even if it were not for it’s quality food and great service. If you’re super hungry the bread and olive oil is a great way to start your meal as are the appetizers. The pasta is very good as is the veggie pizza. Our server recommended the calamari and it was very good. Even though I love Italian food I don’t love all Italian food necessarily. But Lombardi’s does a good job of providing the usual dishes in a fresh way.

I’ll admit it. Italian is on the bottom of my top cuisine list. Most dishes can be made at home and it’s hard to find a place that actually stands out and makes you want to come back. For me, Lombardi’s is the epitomy of this, if not worse. It’s your typical sub-par Italian restaurant that presents itself as high-class but really consists of waiters who dread their jobs and chefs who have never used seasonings outside of salt and pepper and consider the microwave their utensil of choice. I really didn’t expect much more in the first place. I ordered the Lobster/Crab Ravioli special, which I tend to gravitate to in the rare case that I do go to an Italian restaurant and they actually have it. This was probably the worst I’ve had. The dough was under-cooked, the filling was just some mushy paste that barely had any seafood flavor, and the portion was pretty small for the price. It was just bleh, for lack of a better term. If you’re going to have a dish that’s considered a special, at least do it right. Service was mediocre at best. We had a group of 10 or so and the waiter always took forever. Now I wonder why we even came here considering all the options Vegas has to offer…

Well it was a pretty darn good meal. My friend had a special — Gorgonzola with pear inside pasta with walnuts in a white sauce. 5+ stars. I had chicken parmesan and it was 4+. For dessert. Chocolate cupcake thing with vanilla ice cream. Yummmmm. We told the photo girl and the elderly violinist«no thanks» and they graciously left us alone. Good place to eat before the V theatre. We ate before the Marc Savard Hypnotist show and the show was AWESOME too! A fine evening!

Amazing! Ordered the pepperoni pizza, came out quick, warm, and nothing short of delicious. Scrumptious bloody mary’s and the Fragolino was delish. Our server was really nice and friendly. Loved our service and this restaurant!

A-OK particularly if you are seeing a show nearby. We were going to LA Comedy above the Cabo Wabo Cantina(don’t eat there). You are IN a big indoor shopping mall so deal with it and in Vegas yet, so forget the window view. Thursday night prompt seating, we had made a reservation and were late. Kinda slow service but we know to ask for bread and water, refills were slow. Received good recommendations on our choices for entres and glass wine, a Cioppino and a handmade Lobster/Crab Ravioli and both were good. Actually the Lobster Ravioli was SURPRISINGLY good and had some very subtle seasonings we couldn’t identify. Decent house salads and the bread was warm. We did experience the wandering violin man. I gave him $ 5 and told him to come back,($ 5 to NOT come back is also a strategery:) I expected to never see him again but he did return and played about ten seconds of something I can’t remember. I doubt he remembers any complete songs. We missed the photogirl. I never liked the perfume misters or wandering time share sellers back in their short day either. If you aren’t bringing us the food we ordered, or refilling our wine or water glasses, best leave us alone as we can be unpredictable. Our server grew on us, and us on him I think since we were pretty self-sufficient and he was too busy and he brought us a free desert for somebody’s birthday, and sang with us. Try it.

My daughter and I took the tram and walked here from the Mandalay Bay. We chose this place cause we couldn’t go any further, lol. I don’t really like pasta, especially 9 pm @ night but I ordered the bolognese because they were made with homemade noodles. My daughter ordered the spaghetti with meatballs. Our server was very nice(she kind of looked like Celine Dion) and the food came out extremely fast(only a few minutes later). The food was just okay, the bread with olive oil, balsamic, and parmesan was just okay, too. The portions are also a little small. And a little pricey as well for what it is. I wish I would have planned a little more and @ least go to Spago’s or something better and had more memorable food, especially in Vegas :0

We rolled in Six deep and was greeted and seated. They presented us with Menus and Sourdough Bread with Olive Oil. We ordered Calamari for an Appetizer. It was Delish we ended up ordering 3 orders of Calamari lol. I ordered a Cesar Salad and a Dry Aged Rib eye Steak with Grilled Mushrooms with Steamed Vegetables and Garlic Mash Potatoes. The Cesar Salad was good, fresh ingredients and a nice size portion . The Star was the Rib Eye Steak. Tender, Flavorful. Just Yummy and it hit the spot. I would definitely eat there again.

I like this place. It’s conveniently located in planet hollywood’s miracle mile shops. It’s a good value for the money and you get dollar drink refills on peach bellinis and mimosas. We came here for lunch on a Saturday and the food was pretty good and service quick. I ordered fettuccine alrfredo w/chicken and spinach and my fiancé got the lasagna. His meal coulda used some help but mine was pretty good. Our meal came with flat bread which was also just decent, it coulda used a little help. Overall, the food could’ve been seasoned better.

Good food and great service. I thought the portions were ok for the price(about $ 15−25/entrée) but everything was presented nicely. They even bring around a plate of parmesean cheese to sprinkle on your food once you get it. They didn’t seem to have draft beer though because I ordered a Heineken and it automatically came in a bottle. I would recommend this place if you’re already at the Planet Hollywood or Miracle Mile Shops but I don’t think I would make the trip down just to eat here… nothing special, just a normal Italian restaurant.

We came here after searching on Unilocal for Italian food for about 20 minutes before our show at the V theater, which is pretty much right around the corner. We were seated pretty fast without a wait. I had the lobster ravioli, which was ok, nothing special honestly. An elderly gentleman came to our table and sung a song along with his violin«Lionel Richie”(note the bunny ears) for 30 seconds than asked for tips. I only had $ 20s on me, so I asked for change. He dropped the money a bill at a time between two plates of food as if it was invisible. A lady also took a picture of us and showed us two frames. One for 15, and two for 20. Both of which were in Las Vegas frames. When I asked for both, I didnt notice that she slipped one of the pictures off the frame, and into the bag. I had to track her down to get money back since this was not what she clear on her«sale». Thanks to the older gentleman, I had to knock a star off of my experience. Mr. Lombardi, please do not hire people to rain money on my food! Cheers

The food was just okay– I had the Paglia e Fieno and it didn’t hold a candle to other tagliolini dishes that I’ve had at other Italian restaurants. The chicken was a bit dry and there were way too many mushrooms in my dish for my liking. From the look of their wine menu, I see they have a much larger variety of red wines than they do on white wines. There was only one listing for Riesling so I went ahead and ordered the Bellini Classico. While eating an elderly man walked up to our table playing the violin and tried his bets to lay Lionel Richie’s «Hello»(one of my favorites) but he forgot the words and after an abrupt stop he says«thank you, thank you. I work for tips». My bf hands him a $ 20 and asks for change back and they guy throws down singles over our food as if he didn’t see it there. Then we have the picture lady that shows up to take our picture for«free» and give us a discounted offer on the pictures and a 20% discount if we returned. There was way to much money grumbling going on during our dinner! Not a fan of being harassed while I eat my dinner.

This place is good for an Italian restaurant in a mall(Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile). They have a decent wine selection, a variety of Italian dishes, a brunch menu and best of all, they make their pasta noodles from scratch each morning for the day, and are cooked to order! :-) Their desserts taste fresh and light regardless of how heavy/rich they may seem. The tiramisu is light, fluffy and does not feel heavy or too condensed in texture. The cannolis shells are flaky, crisp and not too thick. Just right! The filling tastes like the ricotta is whipped with some sort of chocolate and has small chocolatechips as well. I rarely eat cannolis, but these were worth eating. They are actually better than the cannolis at my local Italian deli/bakery, and that’s saying something positive! Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. They have an older man playing a violin on the patio area as well. If you’re shopping in the Miracle Mile, I suggest eating here. I was pleased and would return.

Came here for a really late dinner with a friend. As in 11pm. They said they were closed but somehow my friend talked them into letting us in. I had the seafood risotto and an Italian margarita. The food here is nice enough. Nothing special compared to a lot of places on the strip but it’s not a celebrity restaurant. It’s a good mid-priced option on the strip. I’m bumping this up a star for the hostess who went out of her way to let us in so late. Thank you!

So, our group was hungover, hungry, and not in the mood for attitude and what did we get? ATTITUDE. Quite possibly the rudest server I’ve ever come across. We were heading to Blondie’s cause we heard great things and they had tv’s so we could watch the NFL playoffs but after we heard it was an hour wait, we knew we needed to sit down someplace else and start drinking water. Our waitress was very disparaging and not accommodating at all. Members of our party politely asked if they could substitute one pasta for another and she made a big fuss about it. We noticed that she was very rude to the females in our party but was quite nice to the guys in our party. She only had one other table that we saw her taking care of yet her service was exceptionally slow. I cannot fathom a restaurant having a wait staff that bad. I’ve seen really bad before but this was an extreme new low. The food was mediocre, nothing to rave about. I took pictures of just about everything I ate on my trip but I just felt this place had nothing to remember. Would I come back? That’s a negative! Would I recommend this place? Uhh, No! Oh and by the way if you have a party of 5 or more 17% will be tacked on your bill as a service charge. WHATSERVICE? Horrible.

Very rude server, inattentive. Spilled soda on my step dad and just walked away. Snorted when my mom didn’t want an extra soup or salad. Service aside, the food is actually tasty. The pizza is thin crust, but it isn’t really different from the Chef’s foccaccia bread. The tomato basil pasta is a timeless classic, and the salmon salad lunch special was a steal. The portion size of salmon will not disappoint. I’m usually good at reading Unilocal reviews prior to trying a place out, but I thought it was convenient so just jumped ship. Don’t make my mistake.

Came here because my best friend’s boyfriend said it would be good. Sorry to say I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the soup of the day, which was a zucchini saffron soup. or i think it was zucchini… it was definitely some vegetable and saffron because it was bright green. Decent. My friend and I shared a Capelli’D Angelo(angel hair pasta tossed with tomatoes and basil). It was just ok. Not super flavorful, but that might have been just the dish anyways. The service was horrible. The restaurant was not busy at all. We were seated outside and the waitress barely came by ever. My best friend is a former waitress and even she was appalled by the poor service. I guess maybe because it’s Vegas and everyone talks about how awesome the food is, but I guess it can be a hit or miss. Perhaps we just tried the wrong dishes from here, but I don’t really see myself coming back.

At the tail end of the Longest Weekend Ever, three of us stopped in to have an early lunch. We were thrilled to get there just in time for brunch to start, but as it happened we stuck to pasta for the food. We did get to order mimosas, which feature $ 1 refills during brunch. I wish I could remember the name of Azya C.‘s entrée — it was a lunch special, a pasta stuffed with pear & gorgonzola in a white(not alfredo) sauce. The pasta looked like sacchietti but I know they weren’t named that. This dish, although sized modestly, was the best-tasting dish we had. I had the gnocchi and even added chicken at the suggestion of our server — and it was pretty good! We also had the spaghetti & meatballs, which were reportedly«not bad.» Our service was excellent, and we enjoyed sitting«outside» where we could watch the Miracle Mile Shops’ patrons pass by. This is definitely a great spot for standard Italian fare and definitely recommended if you’re shopping or staying at Planet Hollywood.

I don’t like when people tell me to recommend something delicious, but fast and I don’t know what the group wants to eat. Everything I know is a drive away so it’s not quite«fast» for starving tourist. Family in town just decided to walk around their hotel and settled on this. I used to work in the PH and though this isn’t the best Italian for the price, it wasn’t a bad option. We were here and some people needed food, now. The table shared: Scampi Picatta($ 10.50) — I didn’t care if there wasnt shrimp, I more wanted the sauce to dip bread in. Caprese($ 11) — the elements were fresh, but I think that they really shouldn’t substitute basil oil for real basil. Basil makes a big part of it. I got the paglia e fieno($ 16.50) for my entrée. The creamy truffle oil sauce went well with pasta, but the chicken wasn’t necessary. It was flavorless and didn’t help elevate the dish. I would have been happier with more mushrooms. I’ve had this a long time ago when I worked in the PH and I remember it being better then. Hrrm… I took a bite of Pork Ossobuco($ 21.50) my sister was having which was pretty good, and the pizzas(Pizza al Prosciutto, Pizza al Salamino Piccante) the rest of the family was munching on was just A-OK. One brother had Risotto Fruiti Di Mare($ 18.50), I didn’t try it but if my foodie brother didn’t comment on food he’s eating that means«it will do». If you need food– its a decent option. However, I rather try to convince visitors to go off strip for better Italian for this price.
