Luxor Festival Grounds

A while ago they held Warped Tour here — I believe it was 2012. Despite how long ago this was, I still think a review of this venue is necessary.
Warped Tour is a summer concert series put on by Vans shoes, and their various sponsors. I usually go each year to see a few of the bands, and check out the different booths they have.
However, this is one of the worst venues for this type of concert — especially for Las Vegas! The «venue» was just concert stages set up on asphalt, and asphalt, in Las Vegas, during June is a nightmare. It was already a thousand degrees outside, and the asphalt just made it worse. Not to mention, there was almost no seating available so I was forced to sit on said hot asphalt (although I’m not sure if this is the venue’s fault, or Warped Tour’s fault.) The parking was also a nightmare, as back in 2012, it was just a dirt lot.
I feel that Warped Tour got the message, though, because they have not booked this venue since then. If you’re going to see a concert or go to a festival here, I would advise not going during the middle of a hot Vegas day — or at least bringing enough water to properly hydrate yourself.
Other than that, the space was fairly large, and fit a wide variety of booths and people without making it feel overcrowded.
