Rude treatment as soon as I walked in. I came in for first time. Got a text and checked my phone. Next thing I know some miserable old guy(owner maybe) yelling at me that no cell phones are allowed. Hand written signs everywhere dont touch this, keep out, dont do this and that. Everything overpriced. Try working on your customer service skills dude. So miserable and rude its rediculous.

I stopped in to peek around looking for more vintage military items, which there ended up being very little of that type of selection. Which is totally ok, just not what I was looking for. On top of that though I did think things were a little pricey compared to to other shops I have been in. The last thing I did want to say was the person running the shop seemed very rude. I am not sure what I had done to warrant him seeming to be so rude or annoyed with me but it was really crappy. This was especially because there were other customers he seemed really friendly with, just not me!

Definitely a little pricey but I was happy that they had what I was looking for in stock and they were the only one in Vegas that had it available. The clerk was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely shop there again. Great experience.

Stay away. The worst surplus store in Vegas. The owner is extremely rude. Also everything is overpriced. Go to Hahn’s World of Surplus.

Awesome selection, good prices. Locally owned by a great American. I went in for shoes but was amazed at the vast inventory. Everything for military, hunters, preppers. 5stsrs!

ATTENTION!!! I sure wish I would of read these reviews before I went to this store! If I could give this business zero stars I would but it won’t let me. As a former 8 year active duty US Army Infantry Veteran(with 3 tours to Iraq) I was treated very poorly the moment I stepped in the door. As soon as I got inside the old man asked me in a very rude tone(and trust me this was rude I have thick skin) can I help you as in though I was in a place where I wasn’t. After telling him I needed a pair of desert boots he immediately starts questioning me asking me what I do for a living, like I’m supposed to get his approval to buy boots there or something. I’m the customer how bout you treat me with a little more respect??? After telling him what I do he guides me to the highly overpriced boots that supposedly everybody in my field uses(which was a lie) and pretty much continues to stand by me. I tell him alright sir I’m just going to continue looking around and after I told him that it’s like he got upset that I wasn’t immediately asking for the boot size of the boot he just showed me. I tried taking a picture of the overpriced boot everybody in my field wears and as soon as he saw my phone he said sorry sir no phones allowed inside the store. I asked why and he just said those were the rules, I said ok no problem I don’t like your business anyhow. I heard through the grapevine that this place is about to go under. I WONDERWHY??? It’s called RESPECT, especially if you want people to BUY your stuff. Will never shop here again, if you’re a VETERAN do not come here.

Did not feel welcome in this store. Asked to see an item and he did not want to bring it out. He just described it to us. Customer service needs improvement. I will not be a returning customer.

Great place to stop and shop. From Ammo Can to Creepers, Khakis to Fedoras. I’m sure you’ll find something you can’t live without.

Pricey for sure but the quality isn’t bad… i didnt care for the attitude of the proprietors though, they were kinda rude even before we entered the store. He happened to be walking out when we pulled up and he kinda have us a sneer, but maybe today was just a bad day! And they might wanna post signs if they don’t want cell phone usage in the store!

You can find almost anything that you want and the owner is AWESOME. He’s helpful and funny. Don’t let his gruff exterior scare you away. He’ll help you and give you advise on everything in the store. He’s old school, which is great. He treats you with respect and expects the same in return. Seems fair to me. This is the ONLY place that I shop for these specialty items.

Walked in earlier today and was told no cellphones allowed in the store. I wasn’t even talking on the phone just listening to a voicemail. Looked like the store was empty… wonder why?! I left and I’ll never go back.

Giant Army Truck out front, really cool. Windows are shuttered and you can’t tell if they are open or closed. Went around back to the main door. Also shuttered and no hours of operation sign. Guys want to shop after work, you need to stay open later and figure out a way to let people know that you are in the building. I ended up driving up to Sportsman’s Warehouse and spent a boat load of $. I did go in Mad Man shortly after they opened. I spent 10 minutes trying to figurine out the pricing on gas masks and no one came around to see if they could help me. Prices were nothing to write home about. Get it together before it is too late. I recommend this store if you’re wanting quality long-lasting technical apparel(like Tru-Spec shorts and pants). Yes the store is packed with all kinds of stuff, but you’ll find everything from urban messenger bags to gas masks! This isn’t a casual visit type of store. Be prepared to have a conversation with an interesting human being who appreciates politeness and manners and will return them in kind. Prosper has a big heart and tells it like it is. That’s one of the reasons I return, he makes it fun and interesting. He’s given me 10% off my purchases several times, saving me $ 30 and more(he didn’t have to do that). And upon hearing I have a brain damaged brother, he said«What size is your brother?» then grabbed two Dickie t-shirts off the rack and said«Take these to your brother, no charge.» What other store would ever do that? I’m not in the military, I go to Mad Man Army for desert camping and outdoor gear & apparel that will last… and for Prosper.

I went in to purchase overalls and was treated so rudely I had to walk out even though he had the item I wanted. I will never step foot in this placec of business again.

Definitely overpriced. Shoes we wanted were double the price paid online or at other stores.
