I have literally owned my Multi-​Pure water filter for 19 years. 19! I replace the carbon filter every year or so, sometimes longer and it just keeps putting out amazing water.
Let me repeat, I have had a multi-​pure water filter for 19 years! Never once failing to deliver delicious clean water.
I do not work for the company, although I probably should have signed up to be one of their distributors years ago as I recommend this product often.

But that said, these filters are easy to install unless you get a reverse osmosis unit, in which case a plumber might be helpful.

I don’t know what the other reviewer is talking about my Multipure filter system was super easy to install!
Any below the sink filter is going to involve some plumbing know how but it’s not hard to figure out if you’re handy.
Anyway the main point is this:
Multipure’s filters are the best made, American made, NSF-​Certified, and reduce more contaminants than the others. To give it a low rating just because of a little trouble installing it does not do justice to the filter nor the company.
Also, I don’t know what kind of problem the other reviewer had — he must have ordered «overnight» service or something because my shipping cost was only around $ 10, and that’s not bad considering how heavy these things are! We’re talking thick carbon filters AND stainless steel housing, faucets etc.
Anyway I just wanted to say I love Multipure and we LOVE our Multipure filter. Have had it for a long time and it works great and the water comes out with a good flow rate (not like Brita and others that just trickle out)! These things are built like tanks that last a lifetime — in fact they come with a lifetime warranty on the housing! We got ours at whatsthebestwaterfilter dotc om with a coupon code 424 611-​disc And you just replace the cartridge once per year which is around $ 65 including shipping, so that’s about $ 5−6/month for all the good tasting de-​contaminated water you can drink!

Nice water filter, BUT:
1) Installation on MP-​750 Plus RO is incredibly difficult, complicated by an error-​prone instruction manual. You’ll probably have to hire a plumber to get it right
2) Discounts for filter replacements listed on included material are not honored when you call in (however, when I pointed out to them that they had some inconsistencies in their discount they were nice enough to send me a free replacement filter).
3) When you do order replacements filters, they charge $ 45 for «shipping & handling» — i.e. tossing some filters in a box and shipping it FedEx ground. Nice business model since you can only order filters directly from them.
Had I known all of this at the outset, I would’ve stayed far away from this company. I recommend you do, too.
