Cool trail that leads to a nice little creek in the heart of the canyon. You’ll have to trek across 1.6 miles of loose rocks the size of a fist which is a bit hard on the ankles but once you get through that it’s smooth sailing. Once you’re in the heart of the canyon that’s when the payoff begins. It’s shaded, lots of rabbits lizards, and even deer can be seen, plus the views are pretty awesome. You’ll reach the creek 2 miles in, it’s pretty nice, lots of people bring their dogs so you might find them playing in the water. I’d recommend coming here between February and April, especially when there’s still snow in the mountains far far away in the distance
