I will definitely go back to get my son’s hair done

Went today to get mydaughters hair cut and it was a fun experience and really friendly

Love this place, just got my son’s haircut for his upcoming 2^nd birthday party! They have all the amenities for a toddler to enjoy their time here!

Bobbi was our stylist this visit and she was attentive and precise with the scissors on our crying 2 yo son. She gave him the haircut we requested and the whole time was friendly and kind!
I should mention to we had an appointment at 2:30 and we were received at 2:30! Always nice not having to wait when you make an appointment! Thanks Bobbi!

Walked in. walked right back out. Staff seemed so unfriendly, gave us that «what do you want?» type of greeting when we came in. No «HI, how you doing welcome to snips clips!». All we got was «sign in there». First impressions mean everything. Will not be back.

You don’t go to a steakhouse to order fried chicken. You order a steak because that is what they specialize in.
Same goes with haircuts, it makes more sense to take your children to a place where they specialize in kids hair cuts. They have video games, flying airplane chairs, toys to distract them, and the list goes on. They’re patient, great with children, and loving.
Another upside is they also cut adult hair as well. So if you want to be twinsies with your child, there you go! I will be coming back every other week, make sure to make an appointment because people who have appointments will get in before you.
School season, go in the early am because it’s quiet!

I like that they have movies for the kids to watch while they get their hair cut, it helps the kids to stay still and let the stylist do their job. Crystal is the best and so patient. I took my 3 year old in February for a trim and she screamed the whole time and wiggled all around and Crystal was able to give her a straight hair cut. We just went back for a real haircut and I was nervous my daughter would scream again but she was very calm with Crystal and she got a great hair cut.

Great place for my kids haircuts, the staff is great and puts my child at ease when he is worried about getting his haircut.

I’ve taken my son here twice previously and have had no complaints. This time was different. Those visits i would give 4+ stars but thus time was barely 1 star service. The stylist was not the friendliest and not personable at all. She didn’t seem to have much patience with my 2 year old. I will admit he was slightly fussy but not horrible. She constantly was huffing under her breath. the cut was not bad but his hairline is horrible and uneven. I don’t even know the stylist’s name as she did not introduce herself. The place also didn’t seem as clean as it was previously. Having many second thoughts about returning.

I’m in town to visit family and my 3-​year-​old really needed a haircut. I was lucky to find this salon nearby. I usually take my son to another kiddie salon back home, but this one definitely invested in its perks for their little customers. My son loves that his station had its own TV (as each one does) and that he could pick out a movie to watch from a current collection. This allowed his stylist to take her time since he was so distracted by the movie. The stylist was fantastic and really understood what I wanted for his hair.
But this salon really gets 5 stars for what I witnessed as they interacted with another customer. A boy came in with his father. He seemed nervous. But the staff greeted him so warmly and by name, so I realized he was a regular customer. As two stylists spoke to him and reassured him, I soon realized he was a special needs child. His father sat back in a chair next to him as the stylists worked to make the boy feel comfortable, safe and loved. They sought consent from him, they were affectionate and incredibly patient as he squirmed around. I was so touched by the attention they gave to him to ensure he had a great haircut and a pleasant experience. I will return to this salon every time I come back into town for this level of service alone.

Had a great experience with Angelina. She is very patient and does amazing work. My 4 year old has been going there since 2013 and enjoys their movie selection. I love how clean and organized their shop is every time we stop in. Angelina deserves kudos for her great work and speedy service !

We made an appt. and there was a very small wait, our hairdresser was great and patient with our 1 year old wiggle worm! There are a couple spots that are a little «iffy» with his hair but he seriously was moving a lot so I think she did amazing for the circumstances ha ha! Will be back for sure!
They had a train set, video games, and TV in the waiting room. He was able to sit in a car for his haircut but they also have chairs. It was his first haircut and I think it was $ 15.95 and even came with a picture and lock of hair.

Loved this place! This was my sons first haircut. The salon was so much fun for him, he got to sit in Thomas the Tank Engine while he had his FIRST hair cut. The hair stylist Destiny was super friendly and patient with my son and gentle. This was a fun experience and would definitely recommend.
I did make an appointment and it is first come first served on the Thomas or Lightning McQueen chairs. We didn’t have to wait at all when we arrived, although it would have been ok since there are so many toys and movies to choose from.
The prices were reasonable and we will be going back!

I wish I had hairdressing service like this when I was growing up. Actually I would be perfectly fine getting a haircut here now!
Remember the days when kids when to the hairdresser and it was pretty much tears and torture the moment you walk into the place? Well Snips & Clips 4 Kids is pretty much the Holy Grail for kids getting haircut.
Situated along West Flamingo and the 215, this lifesaving and trouble free salon is easy to access and find as its the closest to West Flamingo road, I think a health store is next door.
While waiting to be seated you have toys, train sets and a small TV for the little monsters to keep the short attention spans occupied. Once its your turn for a cut, your offered a selection of movies or television shows to distract your little one while big scissors and clippers are beaming down to chop off their hair.(Or head, it depends on how they are acting that day! You know what I mean parents)
A selection of Thomas the Tank Engine, That Car from Cars and some other cool looking chairs are available for the little one to sit in while watching the television. I have had a couple different hairdressers and they have all been understanding and patient. No tears, fits and general misbehavior from other kids either. I think they really have this down to a science.

Crystal did a great job with my son’s first haircut. She was patient and caring. She listened to everything we wanted and asked us questions regarding what we wanted throughout the experience. The wait was about 15 mins, great for a Sunday afternoon. It did get busy while we waited, but we were first in line. My only gripe is the price is a little high for a haircut for a 1 year old.

Awesome place for any kids haircut! Clean and tons of fun stuff while waiting! A++ my nephew is 2 and loved it. Coming from a few different barber shops and now here. We’re staying for good!

I booked an appointment for my daughter, she was seated on time.
I like that they have Wii available for the kids while they’re waiting and that the children can watch a movie of their choice, while getting their hair cut. My daughter loved her newly cut medium length hair cut.
Not much to say: Nice staff, child friendly and they give nice hair cuts, starting at $ 15, but how often does a child get hair cut? My daughter gets one once a year.

Walked in to to place without an appointment and was welcomed by Stephanie that also gave my son his hair cut.
It took them about 4 minute s to serve us
Important to mention this was his first hair cut ever and the way that Stephanie treated him was amazing. I Can’t Say That He Enjoyed It But It Was A Great Experience For him. She was so sensitive to him and talked to him during the hair cut it was just great.
Wow you have to be a 50% surgeon to cut babies hair. No doubt they’re pro’s!!!

This was my sons first haircut. I showed up without an appointment and was expecting to wait but I was pleasantly surprised that the wait was very minimal. I was told to put my son in the train as it was the smallest for my baby and my son was very happy. Then the haircut started and the baby started moving his head a lot wanting to see what was going on. I tried to hold his head but I guess it did no good since the haircut didn’t come out good. We told her we just wanted it cleaned up a bit since it was growing over his ears. I feel she cut too much off, mostly on top of his ears and well all around. It also doesn’t look that even. Still this is my sons first haircut so I don’t know if it’s my sons fault for moving or the hairdressers. She was very however very nice so we gave her a nice tip but from now on I think I might just cut his hair on my own for a while.
I initially gave this place 3 stars, I added another star because the owner contact me and offered to fix my sons haircut to my liking. Seeing as the reason I don’t like it is because it’s too short, there would be no way for them to fix that but I appreciate their want to please their customers. I think ill be back.

This was my son’s first haircut with style (we usually just go for a trim or shave) and I was very impressed. The gal Destiny was very patient and well versed in her boy hair styles. She was very detailed and polite. The prices are appropriate and the kids can watch a video while getting a haircut. I will definitely come back as long as Destiny is here.

(At the start of the haircut Lisa, an older blonde with glasses, was cutting his hair with scissors and clippers, but she and I did not click as much and she was a bit critical instead of helpful, then Destiny stepped in.)
