Overall the spa is very neat and welcoming but my experience today was the worst massage experience I’ve ever had. My masseuse was 30 minutes late to the appointment. I was polite and understanding to this because she is a contract masseuse and was working on the other side of town; however I believe it could’ve been prevented, as my appointment was booked over a week ago. I don’t know the name of my masseuse but she is a shorter, Caucasian lady with a hoop nose ring. She was rude and very unprofessional. What started off as very casual small talk on my part turned into a race centered conversation that I did not care to be a part of. She had a bad attitude and so my spa experience was not at all relaxing. I was so turned off I canceled my nail appointment that was supposed to be right after. I told the receptionist about my experience and thankfully I did not have to pay. All of the other staff was great. All in all, however, I would not go back to this place of business. It is unfortunate because I was really looking forward to this spa day, it’s not something I get to do often and so it was very disappointing to have had this experience.

In search of a new salon, I decided to give Euphoria a call. The receptionist«Padia ?» took my reservation and set me up with stylist«Destiny». I know that some salons will provide product and salon items to their staff and other salons the stylist provide their own materials. I asked if Destiny has purple perm rods as that is the color rod that works best on my hair(no sense in getting there and then finding out she doesn’t have them, right?). Padia responds to me and says«I don’t know, I don’t see what they use». I asked if she could find out and she told me that she or Destiny would call me to confirm this on Saturday 7/18, the night before my appointment. Where is the customer service here? is it that difficult to find out such a simple question? No phone call was made to me on the 18th, no phone call was made the day of my appointment either, 7⁄19. Very sad that two different people couldn’t utilize customer service skills and respond. I am a potential customer willing to give this salon my business and they didn’t see fit to make contact with me with regard to my simple inquiry. Guess I’ll be taking my business elsewhere…

I have to say most times for me anyway its about who’s cutting your hair vs the location your hair dresser is located. Destiny was working at Fantastic Sams and moved to Euphoria recently. So I naturally followed her here cause not just anyone is cutting my hair. But I must say the switch has been nice as Euphoria is a large step up and the staff is top notch and very professional.
