The same thing happened to us as the the rest of the reviews stated. They tried to up sell when we refused they only steamed the carpet… The worst part is one of the tech robbed us. We called the company then did the research needed to prove a winning was taken. Security had an accomplice on camera cashing in the winning ticket, but because there was no company truck in the parking lot we can do nothing so the carpets are still dirty and we lost 650.00. NEVERNEVER use them.

So bad that words fail me. First of all, $ 69 for 4 rooms became $ 459. After 15 minutes of haggling and a «call to the boss», I got it down to $ 189. The end result was horrible… he worked for 2 hours and it looked like he didn’t even use shampoo. I had to browbeat the guy to get on his knees and pick up the debris he left behind, and it STILL looked bad. This one might result in a credit card arbitration. Unbelievably horrible.

Wow! I don’t even know where to start. This has been one of the most stressful business interactions I’ve ever had. I called and was quoted $ 69 and was never told about any huge additional charges for example: to use shampoo on carpet cost extra $ 77 and then to use chemical that MUST be used in combination with shampoo cost $ 77 totaling a whopping $ 223.00 for 1 bedroom + stairs. Huh? Why wasn’t I told this on the phone? By the way I found out that this is called upselling, which I did not know until the tech called his«boss» and they kept haggling about the price. Please look at the photo I took of the price haggling that went on. After 1 hr 20 minutes of haggle I finally said no and the tech still wouldn’t leave and then told me that he couldn’t leave until I gave him $ 20 for gas. At that time I got a bit worried since I was all by myself dealing with a stranger that didn’t want to leave my home. I finally got the guts to firmly say please leave now… and after 1 more attempt of a personal offer of getting my carpets cleaned if I paid him on the side, which I said No to; he finally left. My main advice here is to always have another trusted person with you when you have strangers in your house. Never thought I’d ever be in an uncomfortable situation like this. To all you Unilocalers out there please make sure that if an advertisement doesn’t have a review or if carpets get cleaned for $ 49 which is on the stainmasterlv site; then it truly is TOOGOOD to be true.
