I’ve only tried the macarons here but wow!!! Its worth coming here just for those!!! They have new ones that are strawberry covered chocolate macarons and those are some of the best I’ve ever had! I would totally recommend this place!!!

I opted to spend a little bit more and order a couple pies(pumpkin and pecan) for Thanksgiving rather than buying grocery store ones. The pecan was a tad bit sweet for my tastes, but overall the pies were amazing. The crusts are phenomenal. Thanks Sugar Bee’s!

I knew that this bakery had macarons so I drove over 12 miles to be met with very friendly customer service I was also able to try one of the macaroons which was hands down one of the best I have tried what I love about their macaroons is that they have purée in the middle with filling on the outside not a lot of places do that besides my absolute favorite which is filled with gelato and takes on the feeling on the outside as the process I’m very pleased and will definitely be back in again I also asked about their bread and was given a free love to try this place is great more like a small town the bakery in a city

I decided to go in after a workout prior to my nail appointment for a little treat at 8:55am! I tried one of the regular glazed donuts and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh and not too sweet! I also got a coffee but they ran out midway so the amazing lady who was helping me asked if I had a few minutes to wait for another coffee to be brewed. Unfortunately I had a nail appointment at 9am so I had to go but what she did next was what above and beyond! She personally delivered a fresh cup of coffee with macaroons that are to die for! Being in customer service myself it just means so much when someone goes above and beyond to make thief customers happy! I am truly pleased with this bakery and will definitely be going back at least twice a month for my sweets! Also I can’t wait to try thief croissants– they smelled amazing!

My family loves this place. They have the best scones EVER! Their macaroons are really good. Everything tastes like it was just made, straight from the oven. The employees and owner are awesome people, always have a smile on their face. Great customer service. I love all of their pastries. Everything is delicious. Good job, keep it up!

My hubby and I have been searching far and wide for ham and cheese croissants but never could find it… Until today! It was so yummy! The only downside is that they are clear across town from us. But nonetheless it was delicious and we’ll be back soon!

Opens Fridays and Saturdays only, making the treats that much more in demand. Croissants and garlic rolls are always fresh, never fails. The three cheese and herb scones are my usual purchases. I have introduced a number of people to this bakery due to the quality and freshness of the baked goods. Very friendly staff.

I came for donuts on Friday for my office. I am known as the donut lady because I love donuts and trying different locations. My absolute favorite place for donuts is Donut House on Paradise which I have found no one can compare. For me it’s all about the dough. I’m glad they are not near my house. Dees Donuts were great, but no longer open. These donuts were ok. Similar to what you would find at any regular donut shop or grocery store. A dozen was $ 14 compared to Donut House at $ 9. I will try Sugar Bees again for their other offerings, but not the donuts.

Ate lunch at Jenni Phở and noticed Sugar Bee was right there. Next thing you know, I’m walking towards Sugar Bee for some after lunch delights. Raspberry and white chocolate scone, raspberry almond cake, guava lime macaron, and a salted caramel macaroon. First off, the scone was HUGE! my total came out to around $ 7. good price of my large haul. The scones were great. Who knew guava and lime went so well together? I’m not a macaron expert, but I thought the macarons were perfect. My French coworker also gave them his approval. Raspberry almond cake… OHMYGOD! This thing was DELICIOUS!!! The crust was crispy and chewy, nothing i can really compare it to at this moment. The inside moist and delicious. It was so good, the 3 coworkers i shared it with wanted to know the name of the bakery and where it is. This cake alone is worth the trip. The raspberry and white chocolate scone was really big. The scone itself was dense and bready, but not dry. You definitely got a nice soft chew. The inside of the scone was filled with a raspberry and white chocolate jelly. There was enough jelly to where you got a good taste of the filling without being too sweet or overpowering. Probably the best scone I’ve ever eaten. The apple fritter looked delicious, but I had to resist. Maybe I’ll get some donuts next time. Only negative is there weren’t any sugar free options. Service was great, everything tasted delicious, and the price is less than what I expected.

Their croissants are okay, but the jalapeño cheese croissant is delicious!!! the croissant itself looks a bit different… maybe a little darker and crispier with a cooler shape than the regular one. I was a bit turned off by the fly in the window right by the croissants though. They don’t have a cover so it’s free access to bugs. Eeeeeks. I also got a apple fritter, but it was meh. Just stick to the croissants I guess.

This is my first time coming to this establishment, it looks like there is only one individual working here cause when someone in front of me ordered bread she went to the back and started wrapping some bead to go…” WOW that smell of fresh bread was intoxicating” The service was fast and the waiter was wonderful. Well I actually bought the macaroons for my roommate because it’s her birthday so will update later and see if she likes them. Ok she finally tasted the macaroons. She said it was her first time tasting eating some macaroons, and she loves them. I tasted them my self, they were delightfully my favorite was the Kahlua flavored macaroons, the hint of coffee just elevates the macaroons.

Unfortunately this lovely little bakery is less than a ½ mile from my house. Their macaroons are always delightful and we try all the flavors they have when we come in. The real special item is their almond cakes. The usually have blueberry and raspberry. Doesn’t matter which one they are both amazing. Perfect texture and just a delight to eat. We rave them when we are out and are so glad they have the 24 hour advance ordering on the weekdays they are closed. The croissants are also very good and I have tried all the varieties. We also love their bread with a special fondness for the ciabatta rolls. The service is always friendly and inviting. Just love having this neighborhood bakery so close to my home.

Macarons are a weakness and I think I may have found the place to drive to when those cravings creep up. In the vicinity of Pin Kaow and Pot Tea, this little storefront whips up one of the best macarons I’ve had in Vegas. I’ll even go as far to say that it’s better than Bouchon’s. Few flavors comprising of kahlua, vanilla, nutella, mint chocolate, peach, strawberry lemon, lemon, passion fruit, blueberry and you may even catch some other flavors if you come in at the right time. For the most part, you’ll usually see about 5 – 8 flavors on display allowing you to get at least one of each during a visit priced at $ 1.35 per macaron. I mean, it’s almost impossible to eat just one! Why do I like them? Thin, crisp, outer shell with an airy, chewy, moist center and a complementing filling that isn’t overpowering. For the times I’ve come in, there has always been macarons available and all times have been consistent so far. They also offer a variety of breads, scones, croissants, and dessert pastries. I recommend their ham and cheese croissant and their bread pudding-don’t skip out on their bread pudding. You won’t regret it. Employees have been nice. They may not always be peppy but never have they been rude. Witnessed a time where someone didn’t have enough cash for some items and wanted to pay the rest on a card without meeting the credit card minimum. She was willing to give the loaf of bread for free. Only complaint, they’re only open Fridays and Saturday from 7a-5p but it’s okay because this place makes its mark as one of the better bakeries in Vegas.

Heads up: This place has adopted summer hours and is currently only open Fridays and Saturdays, contrary to Unilocal listing. Thankfully I came on a Friday, because they’re out of the way for me. Purchased and used a Unilocal deal, $ 5 for $ 10– scooped up two different savory scones, a giant chocolate chip cookie, and one of each of their macarons in stock for the day. Butterscotch was the favorite, per the friendly lady who helped me, and I got two of those. Downside to Vegas heat: by the time I got home, my macaron fillings were melted! Super bummed, but the scones were my favorite, with the three cheese just barely beating the sundried tomato for the favorite. I’d come back for those… but I’d call first to make sure they’re open!

As far as local bakeries go, this one is by far my favorite. Whether it’s their delicate macarons, the bread pudding, or one of their fresh and non-preservative loafs of bread, everything they make seems to be fresh. And honestly, the bread is not even expensive. Another guilty pleasure of mine was the nutella cake. Sooo sooo chocolatey goodness. I do think the employees can come off as a little unfriendly, but I think it’s just the tone of voice they naturally carry rather than anything malicious. Oh and the chocolate chip cookie… yum.

I have really mixed feelings about Sugar Bee’s. The macarons were absolutely not A-OK. They were very crumbly and could hardly be picked up without crumbling. I also found them chewy rather than soft and melt in your mouth flavor that I’m used to. There are several bakeries that have more flavor options and better macaron product. The garlic knots I got were good but there’s nothing special about them. The cinnamon vanilla bread pudding was quite good. On the other hand, the carrot cake was a lot of icing with little cake. It was OK because the icing was not really sweet but rather had the very good flavor of cream cheese icing. I was also surprised by the lack of product. Many bakeries I go to have much more choice than was available here at about 1PM which I don’t consider that late. If partial stars were allowed this would be a 2.5 star place. I rounded to three. The bakery is not in my neighborhood so I’ll be missing nothing by going elsewhere.

Before Christmas, my BFF Lily L. and I stopped in for a quick breakfast before errands. It’s a small bakery with just enough space for two cases, table with coffee fixings, small beverage fridge, and a table with two chairs. Definitely more of a pick-up spot. Lily also took advantage of the free coffee with check-in. We decided to utilize the table and it was perfect for a brief snack. We decided to try three of the five macaron flavors available that morning(12/23/2013): Pineapple Pink Peppercorn, Eggnog, and Cranberry. I wish I could recall the other flavor that was paired with the cranberry! The macarons were moist with the perfect texture and so scrumptious! They weren’t overly sweet, however, it was difficult to distinguish the individual flavors. Lily, whom I consider to be a macaron connoisseur since it is one of her favorite things and has experience baking them, gave these macarons her high stamp of approval — better than Bouchon and Payard! For savory treats, we tried the Chive and Cheddar Scone, Jalapeño Cheddar Croissant, and Ham and Cheese Croissant. Everything was really, really great. It’s the first time I’ve had a savory scone and it was so well done. Some scones can be dry and overly crumbly, but this one was moist and delicious. The croissants, oh my. Honestly, the BEST croissants I have ever had! So buttery, crispy, moist, soft — everything you want in a croissant. We loved both croissants so much that we contemplated another one(seriously!). We were so pleased with everything. Prices were great and service was so friendly! I personally loved the croissants and scone. I really can’t wait to dine on them again. They also offer loaves of delicious breads, which I would love to try as well. So, stop in for a quick pastry, you won’t regret it!

The pies are a little pricey, about $ 20 for an 8inch pie and I can’t say I was blown away. They sure are better than getting a pie from like Smith’s but I can’t say they were amazing. I bought apple and chocolate and found chocolate to be a better choice. The chocolate was super rich but tasted a little buttery. I prefer apple pies but in this case the chocolate was better. Apple pie was a little sour, I think the apples were not thoroughly baked. The dough in the apple pie was excellent though. It’s worth mentioning that I ordered my pies for Thanksgiving and the bakery was overwhelmed with orders, so I might try them again on a regular day.

So this place isn’t cheap but only because the desserts are delicious! I came in looking for a little something sweet to gift to an old friend over lunch and while I was looking through the deli cases(2) I tried a sample of the raspberry almond tart. MMMMmmmM SO good. So I got a couple of those at $ 2.75 each(they offer raspberry and blueberry I think) and some macaroons. They make them in-house. There was a small selection of other bakery items: baguettes, rosemary bread knots, croissants, crème brûlée, small cakes(i think most ppl order custom), tarts, and such. side note: just because a restaurant or bakery is showing desserts in a case does NOT mean that they made them, plenty of places sell prepackaged/frozen items so I make it a point to always ask. because why would I pay $ 1.35 for a teeny macaroon if they just bought them bulk from some giant food conglomerate. the 2 ladies(1 was training the other) are obviously bakers first and business/customer service people second. happy and sweet, but resulting in awkward convo/situation. i requested the trainee to put everything in their small box for my order and the trainer kept trying to separate items into 2 boxes, then the trainee tucked in the flaps of the box and the trainer told her not to bc it would squish the macaroons, I said«its ok I want it tucked», and the trainer keep wanting her way. i just wanted to get out of there on time and said whatever the trainer wanted was fine.(3 min is a long time when you’re watching other people debate things about you) i then asked if they took AmEx and she replied no they don’t while nodding lol. o well, they can only improve on teamwork with time, i walked out happy :) — they’re also pushing their new organic coffees. but def get an almond tart with it :)
