Gambling, check. Show, check. Ballerina wannabe fountains, check. Fake pyramids/European structures, check. So where else do you HAVE to take your family on their first trip to Sin City? Yup, an all you can eat buffet! While I’m not particularly fond of such buffets, due to the forseeable compromise of quality over quantity, ‘Taste’ was fantastic. The people standing in line next to me, who evidently did their homework, touted this as «the best on the strip». Interesting… There are over 300 menu items, some not so memorable, but none downright disgusting or vomit inducing. That in itself puts Taste leagues above its counterparts. Memorable items included: the entire dessert section(including freshly made crepes, a gelateria, and sugar-free section) and the crab legs. Others included the made to order pasta and asian stir fry, soups, and the beef short-ribs. A tip – come about 30 – 45 minutes before lunch hour ends. You’ll wait in line for 20 minutes, get in for the lunch price, and probably stay long enough to taste some of the dinner items, which are fresher and marginally better tasting. Really though, it’s just a cool, cheap thrill to try«higher value» food for less(even if it tastes whatevs).

This place just opened 3 days ago and it is so much fun! They have all the specialty ingredients that chefs from the Wynn uses. You will find products from Paul Bartolotta’s restaurant, like Farro… special oils that he uses as well as gigantic shells that he uses to decorate his restaurant. You can also buy blocks of Pink Himalayan Salt, fine dark chocolates, espresso machines, chef hats, etc… if you like to eat or like to cook, you should definitely check out this store.
