What a cool display!!! While I was walking through the Bellagio Hotel I came across an art display from Richard Macdonald. The display was situated by the Cirque Du Soleil theater area, and the exhibit featured metal sculptures of figures of the human form. I guess sculptures are related to the Cirque Du Soleil show, therefore the wonderful art display. I thought this display was quite amazing & very interesting. I can see a lot of painstaking work was done to make the various figurine sculptures. If you ever have the chance to swing by the Treasure Island hotel, you should take a peek at this wonder art display!

I visited this art gallery for the very first time in September 2014 when on a business trip. There was some down time and since I was the only one into this kind of thing I enjoyed the bliss of going by myself. I spent more than a good hour in there enjoying and admiring the wall and statue art and had the pleasure of speaking with the Curator there who answered all my questions and was quite attentive while also giving me time to myself to just«look around». Worth checking out when in Vegas.

Well, if this ain’t an amazing perk of living in Vegas, then I don’t know what is, and frankly I don’t really care to know. Located on the south side of the ARIA, this gallery was set-up in connection with Cirque de Soleil, with Richard Macdonald sculpting figures of characters/forms found in the various productions of Cirque. I was amazed by his process which was displayed on flat screen TVs in the walls scattered throughout the gallery. I can’t think of any better human form off of which to base a sculpture than the artist/athletes of Cirque de Soleil. I loved this collection and hope everyone gets a chance to see it.
