This place is probably one of the best resources and businesses in Henderson! I’m building a dining room table and the staff are awesome! They have all the right tools to do a job right, there is a sense of community among all of the builders and a lot of help to go around! Will, my hat’s off to you! You and your team are great!

My team and I did a build-​your-​own-​cutting-​board team building here, and it was wonderful! The instructors, Will and Paul, were so patient with our group. I have never even stepped foot inside of a woodshop, but Will and Paul were very knowledgeable about their craft, and they made me feel like they had the utmost confidence that I could handle big machinery… And I did!

I recently took a class here that walked me through making a beautiful cutting board step by step. The space is large and can accommodate big groups. I was shocked by how patient and kind the owners/​instructors were to my group– we were definitely all novices, and our finished products looked professional. I am VERY proud of my cutting board, and can’t wait to go back to try other classes!!! Trying to decide now between the soap making or stained glass…

I found the location easily. Plenty of parking and easy access to the building. I prepaid for the class via Paypal. Very friendly owners which are also instructors. Everything was set up ahead of time and we started class on time. Easy to follow step by step direct instruction. We discussed safety procedures first. Prepare to either transport the soap home (it’ll be pudding consistency in an open container) or make arrangements to pick it up the next day. If you choose to pick it up the following day, you have the option of cutting it into bars there or take it home (and cut it yourself). After this class, I no longer fear using lye but still will use typical precautions in my future soap making adventures.

I just took safety orientation class and Will was a fantastic teacher. I don’t have any previous woodworking experience so it was really great to use all the tools and learn about the different processes.
Today I’m taking a cutting board class and really excited. The cutting boards I’ve seen others make are simply stunning — 4 different types of wood, beautiful designs. Photo is of one my dad made at the shop.
Awesome community feel. Friendly. Fun!
