Very good vegan Thai food. I love all the choices, the salad with the green apples is my favorite. I usually get a few dishes to take home and eat during the week at work. Very personable and friendly owners.

On a recent trip to the fresh52 Farmer’s Market in Tivoli Village, I discovered a vendor called Tuk Tuk Thai Cuisine specializing in Vegan and Vegetarian Thai cuisine. My interested was immediately piqued to say the least. The vendor was happy to give customers samples of food, and I decided to go with the Drunken Noodles. DRUNKENNOODLES($ 8): My first bite was so good, it was one of the moments where you have to close your eyes and just savor all the flavors you’re tasting. The tofu in the drunken noodles was delicious, and the heat level I chose(level 3) gave off just the right amount of heat. THAIICEDTEA($ 3): It was my first time drinking Thai Iced Tea, and I loved it! It was super sweet and I tried to conserve as much as I could so I could gulp it all at the end. SIDEOFRICE($ 1): For a dollar, why not get a side of rice? It’s a pretty hefty portion. Worth a return visit? That’s a definite yes. I would rate Tuk Tuk as closer to a 4.5. TIP: According to the Vendor, Tuk Tuk is at the Tivoli Village Farmer’s Market every Saturday. Right now, they don’t have a physical location. Unilocal100CHALLENGE2015: #67
