Courtney or Cynthia in pharmacy is amazing. She went above and beyond. I dropped my prescriptions off for an operation I’m having in five days. She was amazing and I went to have them filled and she noticed one of the prescription wasn’t covered under my insurance and faxed the doctor and was just really great. I proceeded to go home and call back later in the day to see if they reached the doctor per changing one of the prescriptions to cover my insurance. I was on hold over 50 minutes and hung up on more than three times. And during the call where I was on hold for FIFTY minutes plus I never once was told do you mind holding they just would pick up and hang up and place back on hold every time it took me off hold because I was on hold too long and rung back to alert they have a client on hold so long ring ring remember u have someone on the phone … Absolutely heinous customer service. Try this when the phone rings don’t just pick up and click to hold try saying do you mind holding or I’m sorry one more moment or we’re getting to you there’s 11 guests in front of you. This is the Walgreens location that can be found on the north west corner of Rainbow and Robindale. I feel like just doing the bullet point review for this one, so here goes. Pros– — clean and well stocked — most times, the pharmacy staff is awesome! When I got out of the hospital last summer, they were all so nice and showed a lot of empathy towards my situation and I will never forget that — Points reward system for anything you buy. Surprisingly, you even get points for paying for your prescriptions! — Easy to get in and out of the parking lot Cons– — pricier than, say, Walmart, but the quick in and out is what you are getting for paying a little more… and, to me, sometimes it is well worth it! — Drive thru pharmacy runs like molasses most times and whomever is at the window usually is a bit grouchy and curt — Points reward card requirs you enter the zip code of the address you had when you signed up, not your present address. You only get 3 tries before you are not allowed to use your points towards a purchase. I just found this out today. Just a tad bit annoying. — not open 24 hours It’s a pretty standard Walgreens. You could do better, but you could certainly do worse. It’s pretty reliable for the most part with a glitch here and there. But it’s my neighborhood Walgreens and I’ll be back… a lot. 3 stars. A-OK.

Dennis was a huge help with a photo book project that almost had me in tears from previous failed attempts at Walmart and CVS! He set me up on a kiosk that was actually working properly, checked on me regularly and even added a coupon discount! Now my Grandma’s 90th birthday photo book is underway! Thank you Dennis for you great customer service!

I came here straight from the hospital to get the wife’s prescriptions. The Pharmacist asked for my insurance info and when I said I have Tricare she quickly said«Walgreens does not accept Tricare». This is the insurance for both active and retired Military. They don’t accept Tricare! Well that will be the last time I ever go into a Walgreens. That anti Military attitude is unacceptable and I will spend my money where they appreciate the service of our active duty and retired Military!

I love Walgreens and its sales, but whatever you do… Do not buy this«Cute» phone charger brand for your iPhones. The USB cable is slow and the car charger lasted about a week and it doesn’t work anymore. Just stick to the cheaper Walgreens chargers that they sell right at the front of cashier desk.

Haven’t had any issues at this Walgreens. I get my prescriptions here and also always go here for quick shopping of items on sale or items I can get with my Walgreens rewards. My only complaint is they don’t carry Physicians Formula make up. I always have to go to CVS for it. Which I don’t like doing because I prefer Walgreens over cvs. That’s the only real reason I gave it 4 stars, and also the pharmacy area can sometimes be very slow. Maybe unorganized.

This review is just for the pharmacy. I’ve been coming here for almost 2 years now and I have to say that the guest service has gone down the drain. For example I went to pick up a prescription because I was sick and I told them that I would wait for it. So after 40 minutes I finally go back to the window and no apology… the guy just tells me. «The pharmacist called u.» Really? When? I was sitting in the chairs the whole time waiting for my name to be called. But seriously? no apology? And way to go… blame the customer. Geez thanks. So not only do I have the flu but apparently I’m deaf too. So what did she do? whisper my name or call when a lady was crying because she was getting her flu shot? And didn’t bother repeating herself? Really? Wasted 40 minutes wishing I was home and in bed just because they couldn’t waste their time calling my name. Just because they couldn’t take the extra few minutes to make sure that I got my meds on time. Thanks a lot pharmacy staff… yeah for wasting time that I did NOT have today.

All the staff I have come across has always been friendly. I’ve been picking up my perscriptions here for over a year now and I’ve never had an issue. They usually have good deals on their cosmetics and it is my go to place when other places are sold out.

A store where you can find quick pick items. Store is best used for its great pharmacy. Fast and helpful service. Usually get the flu shot here every year. Like the program that when you buy a shot, a person in need will get a shot. Seems like a great deal! Use to find gnome statues here, but not so anymore. Walgreens, bring back the gnome statues! Got to say that this store has a great selection of cards, candy, and beauty products. Really like that after holidays, stuff that is left over is 50% off. Great place to do last minute Christmas shopping if you are a procrastinator. See this situation happen every year.

I end up going here often cause I live down the street. I guess the best way I could review it is, no one really takes any pride in working here, that’s for sure. They are slow to help you, and when they do, they make sure to do it with the least work as possible. They really need to make sure their cash register guy takes showers before he comes to work. Not to be horribly mean, but the guy is filthy. You can smell him from behind the checkout, and has clear visual signs of non cleanliness. Not just once, every time I go there. He is nice though, just dirty. I bought beer there last week, and realized it expired in April,(3 months ago). Wasn’t too happy about that, but I can’t let myself waste beer so I drank it anyway… but wasn’t happy about it.

The assistant manager contacted me a couple days after the incident and apologized for the unfortunate experience. He even offered me a gift as a token of their sincere apology. I told him I wasn’t looking for reimbursements, but just wanted them to be aware of what was going on. He insisted that I take it. I thought that was very nice of Walgreens to do this so I am amending my review.

Went to pick up a prescription to only be told that my medicine wasn’t in stock. Funny thing is they sent me an email saying it was ready. Why didn’t they just call and tell me

After an absolutely horrible experience at CVS down the street, I went to this Walgreens and got my script filled in 12 minutes!(It took CVS2 and a half hours and they still hadn’t filled it) Thank you Rhoda for being so friendly and expedient in my time of need!

Better vitamin prices than CVS, and judging from the amount of almost-empty vitamin shelves, I am not the only one that thinks so. +1 It’s hard to run an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink pharmacy, and that’s what this place is. What I found really encouraging was the cashier was asking every customer: «Would you like to buy some candy today?» pointing to the upsell of the day(Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, 2 for $ 1 or something). That’s motivation to do that every… single…time…and not go crazy. +1. Oh, and I think at three separate employees asked me if I was finding everything okay… and I wasn’t even trying to make eye contact. +1

It’s Walgreens, so there’s not much to review. They have a pharmacy, which I don’t use so I can’t review. There is a redbox outside, so that’s cool. If you are a crazy coupon person, you can save a ton of money buying here with their in-ad specials… Keep your eyes peeled for their red shelf labels, those items are discontinued and usually you can get some good deals. Typically I come here when we are in a rush to get something — birthday card, case of beer, ibuprofen, allergy medicine — and it’s convenient because it’s on my way home from work. On average the pricing is just OK.

It’s a drug store, they have great selection and a friendly staff. I don’t really have much more I can say in this review, they’re close to my house, and their prices are fair.
