Denny’s

The I love diner food and, although Denny’s is a chain, they’re always a safe bet when I’m traveling or around town looking for a good meal. Everything is made to order and there are many healthy options on the menu, along with the traditional diner fare that we all love.
Their breakfast menu is quite extensive. I always build my own grand slam and really like the shredded hash browns. I tried the chicken sausage patty and thought it tasted great. The service is always very friendly. My server even chatted with me at 6:30 AM and made me feel right at home while I was on the road.

Visiting the USA we always love visiting a Denny’s!
This was located next to our hotel for the night so couldn’t resist having breakfast here. The breakfast was very busy (Sunday) and we needed to wait about 10 mins for a table.
The food was great and typical of a Denny’s. Will be back!

When you don’t want too many surprises but still want something better than fast food. Your diner becomes your best friend. Especially Denny’s, they have never disappointed me. So many varieties and options and consistently good.

Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately we ordered coffee and were served in dirty mugs. Plates along with the knives and forks were also not the cleanest when we received our food. All in all we probably won’t be visiting this particular location again.

There was a new guy following a waitress around in training that the cologne was so strong if overpowered anything else in the room. Way too much cologne on food service workers kills the experience.

Started with a water… Something’s in my water! It’s not suppose to be. But before the water we got a finger pointing towards tables saying here. No menus no silver ware. 5 mins later the waitress finally came over since the manager who sat us didn’t care to even smirk. Let alone a smile. Had coupons. We’re told to wait till the end to show them. Then they told us we couldn’t use the there after we already tried to ask. Smh. Horrible.

I’ve always had good luck with this location.
As you can read in other reviews, they have definitely had challenges here. Lots of turnover. Sometimes they are understaffed, but much cleaner than Wolf Road with an overall good attitude. The food can be slow but always arrives as ordered. Wait staff makes a sincere effort every time – never rude.
Based on their appearance, I have had my suspicions about the personal hygiene of the cooks, but those are baseless assumptions – I have seen cooks wash their hands and the food is always well-​presented.
I’ll take Denny’s over Sonic any day of the week. Sonic food is terrible.

For a Denny’s I give it ⁴⁄₅. They were slammed today because the Albany is closed for renovations and the Wolf Road Diner closed down AND the new Sonic next door is still a 40 min wait to get a parking spot. That said even though there were 3 large parties ahead of us we got to sit at the counter right away. They got our order in right away too. Staff was friendly upbeat and really worked together.

Okay, so I’ve been to Denny’s a few times before, but never this one.
I went in and it took about 5 minutes to be seated. The waitress, Mason was pretty nice. However, I overheard her arguing with cooks.
Also, I saw two cooks wipe their faces and fix their hair and then go back to cooking… All of this without the use of gloves.
I also overheard a waitress say «Can I get new pancakes… There’s something on these» after a customer requested new pancakes.
As for my meal, I got the lumberjack breakfast which included pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, and hash browns. The food was okay for the most part, however, the ham tasted like rubber. Also, I had to wait about five extra minutes to receive me eggs after receiving my meal. It wasn’t a huge deal.
All in all, it was an okay experience.
I would prefer to go to other Denny’s than this one.

After waiting 30 minutes to get seated, my waitress didn’t even take my drink order. The general manager came over and did it. Got my drinks and surprisingly my waitress took my food order. Food came out an hour later and there was air coming out of the vent right above us. It was colder than my freezer. I asked to turn it warmer and she said it was blowing out heat and she couldn’t do anything! Wtf!?! Are you kidding me? Last time I come to Denny’s

Oh, Denny’s. You almost had me with relatively perky service at this location (adjacent to a Super 8) and relatively clean restaurant. But then you started shaking my confidence when I heard the people behind me return their eggs for the third time. And when I got the wrong toast order, twice in a row. And when my vegetarian omelet came out with bits of sausage in it. Still, I like perky service and the food was edible if sloppily prepared.
Then I noticed on the way out the used «pharmaceutical supplies» on your grass right by the entrance nobody had bothered cleaning up, and I can never think about this Denny’s location again without wondering exactly WTF you are thinking in not caring enough to clean this crap up.
The only Grand Slam I’ll ever have here is the door hitting my keister on my way out.

Fast service and very nice crew!

Very good food with fast service. But the best part is the crew. Been here now a few times and each time the crew does an awesome job. Everyone from the waiters and waitresses to management are kind, prompt and have great sense of humor. Plus where else can you get a cup to go with your drink here in the north.

Newly opened near Latham. Good coffee and opens ²⁴⁄₇. And many choices for sides, so if you don’t like hash browns, you can have oatmeal, fruit and other options, it is nice too.
