I love Home Goods. I especially love this Home Goods because the staff is AMAZING. I recently moved in to the area and have basically nothing in my apartment at the moment. My boyfriend and I spent about 3 hours at this Home Goods(we are incredibly indecisive) and the staff was amazingly helpful, patient and accommodating. We were specifically looking at the rugs and stared at a couple of them for almost an hour trying to decide which one to take home. A mister Tom kept coming over every 15 minutes or so to ask how we were doing and if appeared to still be in the thinking process, he left us alone and said for us to just holler at him if we made any decisions. He was incredibly kind, funny, and gave us no pressure whatsoever. Most other stores and their staff would have been fed up with us by that point. All I can say is that I will definitely be coming back often, thanks to Tom. Tom, you rock!

This store is filled with garbage that other store couldn’t sell. Yet it is always filled with 40−50+ year old nasty women buying gaudy, outdated, over priced items. Reminds me of a thrift store, very dirty and disorganized! JUSTDON“T!

I love to wander this store from time to time and look for all the random home décor I probably don’t need, but want. I have gotten several large items in the process of decorating our home from this store. It is always clean, organized, and has some great home décor. My favorite is the pet section where we love to find new toys for our puppy.

Nice store focusing on home items. Bad store for my wife to go in, costs me too much. Prices are great and products are of good to great quality. Staff is nice and friendly

I was so excited when they finally opened a HomeGoods in the area. Although it took me forever to stop on in. Pretty clean and organized. Great products for a cheap price. The store is pretty big, and the employees are so-so. Great treasure finds.

It’s like going to Goodwill or Salvation Army, except everything is new.

Normally I enjoy«treasure hunting» in Home Goods, but I could not find many reasons to get excited about this particular store. It had, for me, 2 strikes against it. Strike 1, the lesser, was a somewhat haphazard layout. I don’t mean by department within the store — they were fine — but items in each area seemed to be stacked not-so-well, with some disarray, etc. It was challenging to look through items on shelves with typically smaller products(e.g., kitchen, bathroom). Strike 2, the greater, was that the inventory was just a bit too«gifty,» too eclectic, for me. Your mileage may, of course vary. I normally shop at the Marshalls/Home Goods in Clifton Park, but I visited this store because it was more convenient for me today. I’m going to stick with the one in Clifton Park.

It’s a good inexpensive store for the home. They have a great selection of pet items that you can’t find in other places. The staff is always busy and not very friendly. They are not really customer focused.

Summary– Lots of inexpensive home stuff, most of which is pretty much crap. There are deals to be found though. Store is new and relatively well laid out. Kate’s review is pretty accurate in regards to the type of stuff you will find in Homegoods.

Its stuff you can find at TJ Maxx, and the prices are still mostly reasonable, particularly the sales/clearance stuff. I’m not a decorator. In fact my home decorating style has been called minimalist or utility based; I have photographs and a few antique pieces hanging on the walls, but you will not find ceramic«whimscle f**kery» displayed in contrived still life format(see for intentional misspelling clarification)…okay okay, I have a coconut monkey on top of my liquor cabinet/book cabinet next to a can of spotted dick pudding and pork slap ale, but those are long stories about gift giving between siblings. Back to Home Goods: it has«whimscle» f**kery and every day practical stuff like pots, pans, dishes, bedding. Seriously think TJ Maxx home stuff section on steroid and that is Home Goods. They had a decent selection of doggie and kittie beds. I got a good deal on a DKNY duvet and 2 pillows for about $ 50. Not shabby. Location in good, but I still remember when this plaza was home to Albany Public Market.

I heard a lot of hype surrounding the opening of this store and I really expected more. I was driving by with 20 minutes to kill and decided to stop in. Some of the stuff was nice but a lot of it was tchotchke, dust collectors or gadgets that seemed totally unnecessary. Their selection of linens and towels were pretty limited and the prices ranked right up there with a good sale at Macy’s. Pretty much the same kind of selection as Marshalls and TJ Max without the clothing, jewelry, bags and cosmetics.
