Gave them a try as an alternative to Subway, which would be welcome, but Mr. Subb came up short by comparison on pretty much all fronts. We had to rouse the help from the back room to take our order(at lunchtime, albeit on a Sunday), and the music they had cranked up was so loud it made ordering difficult. We finally got our sandwiches ordered, then went through the agony of getting the order run up on the register three times — I pointed out that $ 32 was not going to be the correct order for two 12 inch subs, and for some reason that took a little convincing. The sandwiches themselves: stale bread, no creative fixings, and soggy iceberg lettuce which made them sodden. The only plus factor here is there’s larger, airier seating area than the typical Subway, there are two TVs(although with the music over the loudspeakers, the sound out of the TV was an inaudible drone), and because they have so few customers, you get the place to yourself.
