This has changed a great deal in the last year. Previously, there was a concrete slab with broken, rotting pre-fab structures on top of it. Screws were protruding and it was all a bit dangerous. A few months ago, they demolished the whole thing, and they put together a inbuilt concrete skate park/skate plaza meant for street riders. It seems better than adequate with rails and gaps and little quarter pipes to keep the flow going. Skaters seemed to be getting accustomed to it, certainly better than they did with the old skate park in this location. We could only hope that the city of Manteca would do something to update their skate park.

Cool park to skate but nothing to wrap your whole day around. The rain warpage makes it a bit difficult to skate. I personally wasn’t feeling that park, because I had expected something completely different, but glad to take some detailed photos for other new visitors!

Its a great skate park about medium sized. Everything flows very well, everything is wooden, metal coping, the ledge is knee height, there’s an 8 stair, and a 6 foot half pipe. Great for moderate skaters and up. Only problems are, not much runway on the 8 stair, some of the wood is warped from wear/weather/prolonged usage, some screws are popping out. beware of those, and when alot of people are there it can get really crowded. But overall its a great park, Helmet is required but not enforced. I skate here all the time and never got harassed about a helmet, community center is not too far away for the vending machine, and a cold water fountain is there too for water. Enjoy!
