We tried this place for Lunch and had an Enchilada plate, Wet Burrito Supreme and Camarones Rancheros. The food was Awesome with flavor, Hot, and great customer service. Plus paid cash so, I didn’t get Pushed to pay for a tip prior to service. The cashier that helped us was not pushy for a TIP. They do push for a tip when you pay w/​ATM or Credit before you get served. The cashier was very helpful and kind. Food and Service were great today!

I’ve been going to this restaurant for years now, but this is my first review of it. I’ve had their carne asada tacos, shrimp tostadas, carnitas tortas, and carne asada burritos. All were pretty good and I would recommend to others. Their chips have a nice crunch and thickness, and their salsa has just enough spice for me. Although I typically order to-​go, the inside has about 10 tables for dine-​in, and they also have a salsa bar. Overall, it’s a decent restaurant in Lathrop that satisfies any craving I have for Mexican food.

This place made me lose my appetite after seeing a curly hair on my tomatoe. They just lost me and my family as loyal customer, sad day since we been coming here since it open.

Pros:
— Clean and Organized. (Bathrooms too)
— Greeted upon entry by a woman with a nice, inviting smile.
— Energy Juice/​Coffee drink was unique and delicious. Definitely would order again.
— Tables were clean and spaced out nicely and comfortably.
— Flat Screen TV
— Amazing interior design and paintings.
— Bean and Cheese Burrito was delicious
— Shredded chicken burrito was great tasting too.
— Good size portions.
— Reasonably priced.
Cons:
— Nothing, really. It was a really pleasant experience and lunch.
Would definitely be back.

I am gonna give this a solid 3, the restaurant is small with 8 tables. They sale several types off bottled beer.
Lots of choices to choose from. Leaning more towards Tacos, burritos, fajitas and nachos. A few seafood dishes as well.
Salsa a freshly made and offered in 5 different kinds from mild to very hot.
We ordered a steak burrito with no sauce or cheese on top. My husband said he give it a 4 out of 5. So that’s pretty good.
I ordered the tacos, I have had better, I will still say they weren’t bad just small and I didn’t realize that’s all that it came with. It was my dinner so would have liked some beans and rice.
Overall it is better than some places I have been to in east Texas.

Love this place! I work down the road and we always order this place for lunch. Pro– quick service, great food! Con– they don’t always answer their phone or it will not ring through to be connected! :(but other than that they are great!

Came here a couple times with my family. We were pleasantly surprised how great the food was at this place! My father loved their menudo as not many places have it. They have a great variety of choices and their food seems to be cooked fresh. Customer service is decent. They could improve more by keeping their tables and floors a little cleaner. Overall great place for a quick meal.

This place is horrible! Went here out of curiosity and wanted to try it but one of the worst Mexican restaurant ever. I got a super nachos and it tasted like crap. Not enough toppings and the chips were tasteless and soggy. I will never come back here again!

Me and the family went to Del Osso Farms and were on our way home looking for some good authentic Mexican food. We found this place and it was amazing! Big portions and the Acapulco taco was off the charts! Only reason it is not 5 star is because I can’t disrespect mom!

Came here with my brother the other day and ordered some carne asada fries and horchata. Shared with my brother and food was alright. It could have been better. Fries were a little undercooked. Horchata was on point! Would definitely come back for that. Staff seems friendly and also when I walked in, I seen multiple flies inside. Just seems like a typical taqueria in lathrop. Might come back if I am in the area.

We moved to the area and tried this place out and since then have been coming back every weekend. The food is so good with big servings and great prices. We have tried a lot of things and everything has been amazing. We bring our family there whenever they come visit.

Today was my first time trying this place. I’m super picky so most times I’d rather drive to a place I know then to try something new. Today I wasn’t in the mood so I came here since its in town.
I got 3 Asada Tacos & an Horchata. The Tacos where HUGE! If I’d have seen them before ordering them I would have only got 2. Flavor was Good. Not amazing or the best, but still pretty good.
Horchata was just right. Not too sweet or watered down. Chips where fresh. I only tried 2 Salsas & both of those where good too.
SERVICE:
It was slow, but overall the same wait as other places I’ve been to. They had about 14 people in there and only 2 cooks plus the 2 ladies taking orders.
Overall I’ll probably go back again and try something different

As for a quick Mexican restaurant, this place is typical fare. The food is ok. The refried beans are good, the rice is slightly over cooked, the enchiladas were good (the red sauce was a little better than most places).
The place has spacious seating as opposed to the normal cramped conditions. The tables are clean and the service is friendly.
Good for a quick lunch and then get back on the road.

Favorite taqueria in Lathrop. Never had anything I didn’t like. Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Yummy salsa bar too. They can get pretty busy at times (especially lunch), so that says a lot.

This place is decent. There isn’t much to choose from in Lathrop but I like this place over the taqueria on Lathrop Road. Good price, always consistent but it takes a bit to get your food. And the parking lot is a mob scene.

My co-​worker and I went here for lunch after traveling all day. The lady at the front was rude. She would only speak to my co-​worker because she spoke spanish, when I asked a question she looked at me like I was dumb. We finally order.
Food:
The chips were stale.
The salsa did not have flavor had way too much salt
The aqua fresca that I had way too much sugar
the burrito was nasty no flavor at all
the nachos were ugh well same as the rest
Enviroment
The tables are dirty no one buses the tables to clean them you have to wipe down your own tables. Plates upon plates. That night after eatting there this being the only thing that I ate I ended up with food posioning from the food. I was sick for three days. I will never go there again.

A pretty good little value.
The location is fairly nondescript, and the interior is cozy. The menu is long, but I usually opt for just getting some tacos (often one carne asada and one chicken), plus beans and rice on the side.
The food was pretty tasty, though the beans ended up leaking a bit into the tacos, creating sort of a dampness that tortillas just simply don’t need (for structural purposes).
That being said, all items on my plate had a nice flavor, and for those with, perhaps, a bit of a stronger stomach, I’d recommend just about anything on the menu.
My lower grade is because I did feel like there was some gastric turbulence. Not a ton, but enough to make falling asleep later a little more difficult.
Give it a try — the price is reasonable, the taste is good, and the lower-​intestinal bubbles can be funny, if you have the time to blow ‘em off.
