My experience with this place was the best that it could be family owned people friendly I ordered the pork chow mein the egg rolls and the potstickers and was top notch the prices can’t be beat I will be returning for more business there

First thing to make note is that this is a family owned small business… doing what they enjoy… serving you the foods they love to make.
The name «Yan Yan Deli» is a mystery to me. This establishment is more a take out than anything else, but there are a half-​dozen tables and chairs for those wanting to sit and eat their meal. I chose to sit and enjoy my lunch.
I ordered the cup of hot and sour soup. It arrived scaling hot… a good sign in my book. It was tasty and quite enjoyable.
Next up was the chicken chop suey… it arrived very hot, and loaded with an assortment of vegetables and bean sprouts. The chicken was actually chicken and not that funky «soft chicken» that isn’t like any chicken from grandpa’s farm. This was superb.
Great service, excellent food, affordable prices. That’s a win for everyone.

I was really impressed with the food at this place. For a small strip parking lot, the outside might look kinda ‘dive” but the food was really good. Made fresh to order, I could hear it sizzling and it was making our mouth water!
Pros: the meat was butchered very well, no chewy or grisly pieces, tender (not soft or overcooked) and it tasted fresh. Also, they don’t over-​sauce or drown their dishes in gravy.
I was really impressed with how crispy my fried chicken, excellent.

Small business but excellent service and food!
My family loves Chinese food and whenever we pass by this area, we would stop by and get Chow Mein, Orange chicken and more.
Do I mention that the fried chicken here is literally the best I tasted. Better than kfc, church’s chicken, or any other place that I have tried especially since the chicken is super juicy and is made fresh right in front of us.
The price is reasonable and for the great quality, I think it is great deal.

Small place but the food is excellent! I live near San Luis Obispo and when i am in Lathrop, Yan Yan Deli is the first thing that comes to mind.

Food taste great and the price is reasonable. I eat here every time I crave Chinese food. I highly recommend this place if you happen to be in the area. Yeah their fried rice and pot stickers are to die for.
