Okay, I just love this Publix. The people in it are so nice, it’s smaller… but they restock like 500 times a day I’m pretty sure, so it’s never really hard to find anything. It does have it’s downfalls, the parking lot(we stay directly across the street in a condo, so we don’t have any issues with it) and because of it’s location it probably is a little more expensive than ones that are a further drive… but I don’t mind. The staff makes this place the best, and the location that I don’t have to drive to… ya know, it’s as good as it get.

One of the better grocery stores I’ve been to; the people are extremely friendly and are ready to help you if you need it! The fresh made food there is really good, and it’s nice to know its only a few minute walk from my home for easy access. Some of the stuff is a bit of a sticker shock, but that happens to almost every grocery store for some items there. Either way, it’s a really good place to get some good food you know is fresh and clean!

David the produce manager is the absolute best! I bought a Thai coconut and he went out of his way to crack it open for me. He is the reason why I love Publix, they hire the best.

Probably the best quality of this Publix is its location. So easy to get from the beach. The place is clean and they sure cram a lot of items into this small store.

This is an older Publix and though certainly not one of their flagships, one of the better of the Publix supermarkets with by far the most friendly staff. It has its own bakery, deli and the selection seems far broader than in any of the older Publix stores. That may be because this location caters to seasonals, renters and tourists of the Lauderdale-by-the-Sea area who themselves generally have a reputation of being a more casual, diverse, friendly, unrushed«on vacation» group. Hence, the pace of the shopping here is generally slower with everyone seemingly having time to say hello or enter into casual conversation which is something that sets it apart from other Publix, making it worthy of a Unilocal

I love to do this. I rent out a cute little hotel by the beach. Stock up on food and beer and only go out to make contact with the world when it’s time to run, suntan or sightsee. This little supermarket is very well stocked with ethnic selections like hummus, New York style potato salad, and salsas up the ying yang. They also have a great little deli and bakery on sight. The personnel are very friendly and helpful. I would give it a 4 star but I am a star nazi. I don’t give out 4’s to just anyone. :-D Great wine and beer selection as well.

Not a bad publix. Generally I think they are terrible but this one caters to timeshares I think so they have a better selection of things. Helpful produce guy.
