Agree with all other negative posts about this business. Sneaky, dishonest and thieves. I cancelled service before my moving date due to all the hidden fees I discovered after doing the Groupon deal. Said they would reverse the $ 200 charge on my credit card. They did not and had to dispute. They charged my card for $ 200 twice in June, one more time in July and again in October. THIEVES.

Got a groupon that had a set price for two hours of moving. The movers showed up 30 minutes late, which wasn’t a big deal. However, that means my 10am to noon appointment was really now 10:30 to 12:30. The move finished at 12:30, right on time. The owner refused to let his movers unload my furniture from their truck until I gave a credit card so he could charge me for an extra half hour. He held my furniture for ransom, over a his own mistake.
A TERRIBLE company.

I would give them zero stars if I could! I reserved them 2 months before my move with the groupon deal. I received the contract which had all of the correct information about the price I was offered and the move in date. I confirmed one week before to make sure everything was all set. THEN on the day of the move, no one showed up. I gave them a half hour before I called and got the owner on the phone who told me they had me scheduled for August 11^th, not August 1^st. When I asked why they confirmed with me the week before the response I got was that they had a lot of moves for that day so just figured I was one of them without even looking it up in the computer. I also was told the price was going to be double of what I was quoted on. I cancelled immediately and called Two Men and a Truck who were extremely helpful and able to fit me in that day. Bottom line– DO NOT hire Baldwin Sinclair for your moving needs. IT IS A HUGE SCAM!

The guys who moved me were great BUT… The owner is crass rude and not honest. I bought the movers on Groupon for 145.00 I called to see if there was any HIDDEN charges, of course there were. another 150 for fuel and materials. ok I was ok with that, EXCEPT I moved from my home to next home which was 8 miles away (how much fuel can be used) and NO materials were ever used, I had everything wrapped buddle wrapped and boxed neatly and organized. It took movers less than the 3 hours to move me from door to door and they were amazing. EVEN tho are very old mirror belonging to my grandmother the frame around it was broken. The owner could care less and when he was called was rude. Even when he was called and questioned about the extra 150 when NO materials were ever used no boxes no nothing, he was rude and his reply was «so what it is only $ 150.00, that’s less than a months rent isn’t it» NOT RECOMMENDED UNLESS YOU LIKE RUDE PEOPLE AND SNEAKY PEOPLE…

Absolutely the worst company ever. I bought a Groupon because they seemed okay– friendly over the phone… Boy was I wrong.
The movers showed up over an hour and a half late, they were slow as molasses, they got LOST for over an hour and a half on a drive that was 8 miles… This was after I gave them directions over the phone to ensure that they didn’t get lost. They scratched and chipped my bed and my baby’s crib…
Then the owner charged my card a RIDICULOUS amount of money. I called him because he overcharged me and he called me a liar. He finally agreed to refund me $ 130. That was over a month ago and I have yet to receive that check. He now will not answer the phone. Save your money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Owner is a ridiculous scam artist.

If I could not leave any starts I will. I was looking to move a bed and armoire, that’s it, from a friend’s house to my house, I hired Baldwin because it looked like a responsible company. They scratch a wall in my friend’s house and took out a corner on the wall and we both have been calling him and he promised and promised he will go and he never did. I will never recommend them for anything, they are totally irresponsible.
