Eh… this place looks nice. Not many Jamaican sit down restaurants out there. Went for the first time ever this past Friday. I ate all my food, bc frankly i’m pregnant and always starving so I didnt have time to push the food aside. Dont these people own a jerk pan? A drum? oven baked chicken with jerk sauce does not jerk chicken make! The Jerk chicken pasta($ 10) tasted like I made it. And I cant jerk a damn thing. SO it tasted like baked chicky with penne pasta and some heavy sauce. Would’ve probably tasted good if I went in expecting it to taste the way it did. But I went in expecting Jerk. Damn disappointing. Then my husband got the Jerk chicken/Shrimp pasta combo($ 15). Found 2 shrimp in the whole plate. Literally 2 shrimp. Suffice it to say he was not happy(understatement). Not sure if I’ll go back here after that. Not a promising culinary first impression.

This place is the absolute worst when it comes to customer service. Ive eaten there because of convenience several times and every time I was reminded on how this business will not last another year because of the way they deal with customers. Ive even sent friends and family there because the food is average and close by And even they have the same complaints on how the girls that work there Are u rude and filled with attitude, mind u if u have a complaint about the food they will refund u but, If its a plate of rice and chicken and veggies they will refund u separate for the chicken if u have a problem with the chicken and not the whole plate. Moral of the story, they rather loose a frequent customer due to there lack of professionalism. Not recommended! Spend your moneys at dutchpot

Just got back from this place. Not good. I was enticed by the great pics on Instagram. But the food was not half as good as the pics. Jerk chicken was from the oven not pan, so no Pan Friday’s for me. Jerk pork was okay at best. Jerk sauce was not impressive. No kick. As a non-Jamaican, I could have done better, in fact, I have. Sorely disappointed I left Miami for this. Best this was the fried green plantain and rice and peas. My girlfriend liked the festival. I think it was okay. And the drinks… Wow. Don’t waste your money. The Miami Vice was a syrup, SWEET!!! I love to support my fellow Caribbean people, but you guys are not trying. I drive to Fort Lauderdale for good food anytime and I can tell you I won’t ever leave my house for this ever again!

So we are going to get the positive out of the way… PROS: Easy to order. Quick delivery even during lunch time.(Maybe because of the distance) Festival was good. CONS: I had the Jerk chicken pasta. It had NO jerk flavor to it at all. None. The pasta was sweet. Like they made it with packets of Splenda(artificial sweetness). I say Splenda because of the aftertaste. So it was a white Alfredo type sauce made with Splenda. Sounds pretty good? Jerk is suppose to have a spice to it a kick. The actual pasta was cooked perfectly and the red pepper was fresh. One more thing… FIVEBUCKSFORDELIVERY??? I am sorry for the caps but it had to be done that way. Overall, I would not order from them again. If pasta was made that way… well. I don’t know if I want to imagine how the other items are. Actually, I was extremely disappointed. I guess Instagram failed me on this after waiting to try it for so long.

I normally come here every week but over a period of time the service and food deteriorated. The pork has jerk seasoning but comes out stewed. The pasta is now runny and flavorless. Last time I had the rice is was wet and nasty. The dumb girl in the front let my order sit for so long and the food got cold. I will never come back here !! The food needs to be more consistent and the loud music is terrible! The wait is long and by the time I leave I have a headache.

Hubby had been wanting to go this place in forever. So yesterday was the day. The restaurant had a nice ambiance. Take our line was our the door. A bit loud with the DJ but it didn’t really bother us much. We’re A Caribbean AND Middle Eastern household, so we’re loud by nature lmao. Well we wanted to dine in so we sat ourselves as the sign told us. 10 minutes in, no server. So we went to the counter thinking we had to place our order there. When we got to the counter the lady told us she’d come to our table. So we sat down again. The Server took our drink order and Never brought our drinks till after she came back and took our food order. The food took almost 40 mins to get to us. The food is really good. We got Jerk Chicken and Jerk pork. But the time to be served and waited on is long as all hell. We’ll be back, just hoping they work on timing. And wait time.

0 stars… they lie to the customer.. Dont waste your money ordered jerk pork, looks like stew pork and taste like boil pork with ketchup and no flavor whatsoever, they will definitely be out of business soon. prior to ordering i asked how is it prepared. the cashier lied to me and told me it prepared on the grill. jerk chicken was dry and tasteless. i came home and made my own jerk sauce just to add flavor .rice and peas dry and under cook and lets just say taste less. .smh i should of gone to kings buffet and fried rice. and the food is very pricy for the garbage they serve… i will never be back

Their food is a delicious new take on Jamaican cuisine. I usually order the jerk chicken or jerk chicken and shrimp pasta. It’s still delicious days later if you can manage to leave any leftovers. I take my friends from out of town there and they love all the options. Food is prepared fresh as you order, if you’re in a rush call ahead.

Pan Friday’s! An eatery I found on Instagram! Order made via phone at 3:20.very noisy in the background so the lady who took my order could barely hear me but she got it. I wanted some mac & cheese but they had none(why is it that Jamaican restaurants in South Florida never have that??) so I made two orders. the steamed fish, rice & peas and a side of vegetable medley, and the jerk pork with rice and peas with a side of potato salad. Also a side of sweet plantains and festivals. Food arrived about a hour and a half later. and the delivery guy was very nice. But now to food. Everything smelled good. When I opened the first plate which was the jerk pork, I was completely turned off. rice looked so bland & the presentation was poorly put. The fish looked great though. My mom said the fish had no taste and we both agreed that the rice was old because it was so hard! The jerk pork gets a low rating as well because they gave me so many pieces of fat that wasn’t even cooked! Only thing I enjoyed was the potato salad & the sweet plantains. I learned my lesson when it comes to trying pop up instagram restaurants. If you want GOOD Jamaican food, go to DUTCHPOT! The only good Jamaican restaurant in the broward area!
