This place is LEGIT! We ordered from the a la carte menu which included: spicy pork, bulgogi beef, bibimbop, calamari, pork belly, etc. Everything was absolutely fantastic. My husband lived in Korea for probably a total of close to a year and he even said it is legit Korean. Service is a little slow even though we had a clicker on the table to call for the waitress, still took their time. But still… I can’t wait to go back. The ONE thing that kind of sucks is that the table grills don’t work, would have liked to have cooked it ourselves but hey — it was still really good!

I try to come here at least once a month to eat here. I love this restaurant, I have been coming here as a regular. I have never been disappointed with the service or the food. They have private karaōke rooms which is awesome but make sure to call to see if one is available. My favorite dishes are the kimchi stew, fried pork belly and sweet and sour pork, but really anything I have ordered is delicious.

Dinner. Pros: Menu offered a variety of Korean dishes. Cons: Service sucked. No grilling your own meat. This was one of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I had made reservations for 4 people on a Saturday evening. When I got there, it took me 10 minutes to get a table. The server asked us if we wanted a BBQ table or a regular table. We wanted a BBQ table so that we can order the all you can eat. The server did not tell us that we will not be grilling our own meat. They cooked the meat in the back and serve it on a hot plate. I did not want that. I wanted the experience. Why would you ask us if we wanted a BBQ table when we were not going to grill our own meat? That does not make sense. The service was ridiculous. It took the server 10 minutes to give us a menu. 15 minutes to give us our water. 10 minutes to take our order. 30 minutes for our food to come. I gave up. The end.

Korean bbq… absolutely amazing! The spicy pork and the short rib are my favorites. My hubby likes the sirloin. You can’t go wrong with their food! And the food is the reason for the 5 star rating. Please do not come here in a hurry. They always appear to be understaffed. The staff they do have is nice and acknowledge you, but you will be waiting. However, if you’re patient, the food is so worth it!

Love love love the crispy pork belly! When my boyfriend and I come we always get the all you can eat which includes many meats but the ones we like filling up on are the pork belly, spicy pork, and ribs. The deal also comes with sides, soup, rice and soup which are also all you can eat! We usually have the same server every time we come, she is very sweet and attentive! The tables also have a button the rings for when you need a server to come back to your table for something. When we last visited they did not have the do it yourself grills but we’re in the process of transitioning! So that should be exciting! But why Cook it yourself if the cooks already do a perfect job doing so?! Hopefully there will be an option of choosing to cook it yourself or not.

We have been here a couple of times and this is a no frills straight forward good Korean food kinda joint. The all you can eat buffet is a L O T of food and to if planning to do so please be sure that you do not eat anything for 24 hours prior. The food was very tasty and definitely authentic tasting, I would highly recommend this place if you have a healthy appetite for the buffet, the rest of you lightweights stick to the ala carte menu. The service was efficient and very helpful to those who have not tried Korean food before and we had a great time and the other plus is that this place is open after midnight(so you can get of the midnight train from Georgia and feast here) We will definitely be back!

First time here, the staff was so welcoming and attentive. Loved the food and the staff. I can’t wait to try the buffet.

Went here once, they mixed up my order. I asked if the age tofu was vegetarian(I didn’t pick the restaurant, was with some friends who wanted Korean bbq, yes I know that’s not the most vegetarian friendly cuisine), they swore to me it was, then it came out with bonito flakes, which I couldn’t eat, and took forever to remake it, but I guess at least they did. Everything was grossly overpriced and when we lined up to pay, I noticed the kitchen looked really dirty, and no one had gloves on… Will definitely never go back.

I’m sure they haven’t heard this one before but ROK rocks. I’m a noob to Korean BBQ and this was my first soirée. Boy was I amazed. The presentation alone was 5 stars. Meat comes to the table on sizzling plates and smells amazing. There are all these little bowls of appetizers and palate cleaners. There was so… much… food. We must have eaten like 8 plates of meat. My favorite was the bulgogi. Did I mention it was all you can eat? You press this button on the table and it calls the waiter whom happily brings you more meat. The experience was epic and worth every penny. Bring an appetite and friends as this place is addicting.

Our waitress was friendly, but for being a Friday night and only having a total of 3 – 4 parties at the restaurant, the service was a little slow. We were seated immediately, but our appetizers and entrees took awhile to be served. PROS –employees were nice –jap chae: had delicious mushrooms and the flavor was balanced CONS –seafood pancake: not crispy, a little too soft/wet –bibimbap: stone bowl was not even hot enough to cook rice to crisp Overall it was okay, and I would not return.

Love this place. I could come here once a week. Flavors are correct and on point as the staff is friendly and attentive. It’s a fun, small place to bring family and friends… Be prepared to leave stuffed!

No matter how what time I eat here, the food is good and service is always friendly. The AYCE is the way to go, especially if you’re a big eater. The other dishes are also good. My favorites on the AYCE are the scallion salad, the potatoe salad, spicey pork, pork belly with the sesame oil and soy bean paste, and the soup.

We were really excited to try this place out because it’s the only all you can eat Korean bbq around here that we know of. Each table has the option of everyone doing all you can eat or everyone doing a la carte. If you’re ready to chow down, I think the all you can eat is a pretty fair deal price wise. We ordered the one with the unlimited pork belly, spicy pork, beef, and chicken. The pork belly was our favorite, especially with the dipping sauces. Wish I would of upgraded to the option with the short ribs because the chicken was just okay & the ribs would have been more flavorful. I tried a soft drink that was yogurty(I think its called milkis), but I didn’t like it too much. Service was pretty good, though it started getting busy. There’s a button on the table that you can press when you want anything. Overall, I think this is a good place when you’re in the mood to eat a lot. I liked the sides too– kimchee, bean sprouts, potato salad, etc. The all you can eat option also comes with a soup & a salad, which had a pretty yummy dressing– I think it was sesame dressing.

This is a review that’s been long overdue, I’ve been here… five or six times? First time there, I tried the all you can eat BBQ, there are two kinds, the 27 dollar one comes with short ribs, I think it’s a 5 dollar upgrade so it’s totally worth it. The rest of the meats are Korean BBQ beef(kinda shredded looking), chicken, pork and pork belly. My friends went crazy over the pork belly. I went crazy over the side dishes lol. Don’t get me wrong, their BBQ is excellent, it’s just I don’t do soy sauce. I’ve been trying to go «paleo» for like a whole two years now and soy sauce was one of the things that I could do without. Second time I went there with my mom, she fell in love with the place. She swears it’s the best bang for the buck for their«Soon Tofu.» It’s a mildly spicy Korean soup with no kidding, a LOAD of seafood. I’ve also tried their«Jap Chae» noodles, I really like it! The portion is big, it’s got beef and clear noodles. It’s different than mei fun, which is rice noodles. These clear noodles are made from beans. Yeah I know, Asians and their noodles lol, I stopped questioning their methods the day my mom made sure I knew I have Taiwanese blood flowing through my veins. They’ve also got some not so Korean dishes on their menu, at first I was like why? But then I ordered it and I was like ohhhh that’s why. I’m that dude that would go through a Korean menu and order the one that looked the most American. It was the… steamed clams. Not my favorite, but it was tasty. It even came with garlic bread lol. It was like being served Olive Garden food inside a Korean place. Kinda rocked my world a little! It’s like being honest, you know? Want real Korean food? Order the Korean stuff. Want some other stuff? Like ohhh say… steam clams? Here you go, and here’s some garlic bread with that! Overall this is a great Korean restaurant, price is good, open till 2 am, food is awesome and the staff are spectacular!

This was my second time getting All You Can Eat. I came around when they first opened. Food has definitely gotten better but I was disappointed with the pork belly, a top choice of mine. It was overcooked and dry. The kalbi, short ribs, were the best! You’ll find some pieces with a lot of fat but overall the taste of the short ribs is the best thing they have on the menu. Since my last review, I’ve been a frequent customer. A lot of great finds besides the AYCE. I think what brings me back actually is my craving for their small side dishes and their excellent customer service. It’s a Korean tradition to eat all meals with side dishes, so the restaurant will provide a variety of side dishes for you to eat prior to your meals coming. Nothing out of the ordinary for a Korean restaurant but they are very generous and provide quality side dishes. Love their salad & salad dressing, potato salad, bean sprouts, and fishcake. As for the staff, when I come in, they ask«the regular?» I love seeing them and I definitely think they treat all their customers very well! I tried their Jjambbong noodles and really liked it! It was actually too spicy for me, but I still man-ed up and downed as much as I could. Next time, I’ll have to get it mild. This dish is a spicy seafood noodle soup. The only thing I would have liked to change about this dish, would be to serve large sized shrimp. Inside the dish contained shrimp, squid, and mussels.

Had this bookmarked on Unilocal due to reading reviews here. We were not disappointed! The salt and pepper calamari appetizer was quite tasty. Crispy and not chewy. I asked them to tone down the spice as my two guests are not spice lovers. Even so, it was still very good. I had the Pork Katsu(see photo). Hot, crispy and with a nice barbecue sauce. A cabbage side with it as well. Two pieces of pork. I took one home along with some leftover white rice that was included. My guests had the shrimp fried rice and chicken fried rice. Both were delicious and we took home half of each, another meal for all three of us. Definitely a place to return. Delicious food, quiet and friendly. Also, very willing to explain menu items for the uninitiated.

Although I had R.O.K. bookmarked, we kind of stumbled upon it when a new Asian buffet nearby that we wanted to try was too busy. Although R.O.K. Is not a buffet, it can be a haven for meat lovers and those with large appetites. R.O.K has an array of Korean items on the menu, but it is known for the all you can eat Korean barbecue. I am not a meat lover, but I thought this was a unique experience and quite a treat. There are rules to ordering the AYCE. Everyone in the party must order, and all must get the same upgrades. Of course, no doggie bags. The standard barbecue for $ 22/pp comes with spicy pork, pork belly, chicken, and marinated beef. For $ 5/pp you can upgrade and include short ribs. The barbecue also comes with miso soup, salad, and all the little Korean accompaniments. The salad was excellent due to the delicious creamy(miso?) dressing. We received one big bowl of salad to share. It was so good and I was not sure if the AYCE included the salad. I held back asking for more since I knew so much more food was coming, but if we go back I think I will have to indulge, as it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. The soup was also very good. For me miso soup is usually forgettable, but this was a rich broth stocked with tofu & veggies. I always enjoy trying new dishes so I loved tasting the little Korean accompaniments. I could not tell you what each one was but I know some were: kimchi, potato salad, seafood cake, bean sprouts, & some type of tofu. Our server also brought lettuce leaves and different pastes and sauces. She was kind enough to instruct us on how to use them. Our server did acknowledge that the pork belly was bland so I followed her instructions on dipping the pork belly in sesame oil, spreading the paste on the lettuce and wrapping it over the pork belly like a burrito. Very flavorful!!! Since no one else at the table liked spice, I was the only one that tried the spicy pork. I did not care for it and would not order it next time. The men at the table loved the short ribs. I thought they were okay. They just had too much bone and too little meat for me Everyone’s two favorite meats were the Chicken and the Marinated Beef. The chicken was juicy, tender, flavorful, and seared just right. The beef had a delicious sweet flavor and tasted like it had been marinated for days. We ordered several plates of the beef and chicken! The servers were all very nice and helpful. A red buzzer is at the table to let them know when you want them. The food came out fairly fast. Usually my husband and kids do not have the most adventurous palettes. I was surprised but happy that all of them not only liked but devoured the food. For me there was a little too much food but since my family enjoyed it so much, I’m sure we will return!

You have to come here to try the bulgogi!!! You can order all you can eat, or you can order a single dish of your favorite. Their portions are large and everything comes with Korean side dishes so a single dish is plenty. You can also order a buffet style that comes with four different meats and you can refill specific types if you’d like. They are great for groups or for just yourself or a couple. They also have a phenomenal salad with a sweet peanut ginger like dressing that you should try :) this place is a must go!

When my friends asked me if I wanted to drive an extra 20 minutes from the place we were already at to grab some food, I was hesitant. I found a few places nearby with good reviews, but then my buddy said something that changed everything: Family owned Korean BBQ. I was in. All in. In Miami, real Korean BBQ is hard to find, but we were in Broward now, all bets were off! As I opened the menu, the first thing I saw was ‘Unlimited Korean BBQ — $ 27′…what? Clearly I was dreaming, but nope, it is true. The options include short ribs, spicy beef, BBQ pork, chicken thighs, pork belly, and possibly other options. Unfortunately, I wasn’t hungry enough to commit to the unlimited plan(though, after trying my food, I should have). I decided to go with the BBQ Pork Belly plate. It was accompanied by onions, rice, and all the fixings you would expect from a Korean restaurant(Try the spicy Kimchi, so good!). Listen, I LOVE Pork Belly. Who doesn’t?(Don’t answer that, for my own sanity). The Pork Belly at R.O.K was definitely one of the better variations I have tried. The pork belly was full of flavor, crunchy and not overly fatty tasting(a huge problem for pork belly). The onion is really the secret ingredient that sends this plate to the moon. If you have ever tried a Cuban Vaca Frita, imagine that texture but in Korean BBQ with more flavor. Yes, MORE flavor. Despite the portion size being large, I wanted more. Oh, sweet pork, how I love thee. One more thing: R.O.K has a Karaōke room in the back! You could hear people having the time of their lives in the back room and, next time, I will be there as well. R.O.K(which stands for Republic of Korea) is a simple restaurant, no crazy décor or upscale environment. As I said before, this place is family run, the staff(and chef) will come to check on you throughout your meal, and the waitress is the owner’s girlfriend. You can tell this place is a tight knit, well-oiled machine. I will definitely be back here soon, and you should too.
