I asked a bunch older women if the place was good, and they said yes. I went in. They advertise sushi, was old not fresh and basic. The Chinese food bland. I have never experienced an over cooked wonton sitting in wanton soup… yes… Over cooked. The edamame had black stuff growing on it. I felt pressured eating the stuff on my plate, couldn’t wait to leave. Wanted to like it, really I did.

Great place to eat sushi. Also they have a sea food festival with Crab, Oysters and mussels all you can eat. The service is excelent. We can see the changes in this restaurant. I might go there tonight again to eat lobster for around $ 15.00 really low price for a lobster. Congratulations to the new owners. We can see the difference.

Yesterday I went to the Sea Food Festival and it was very good! I eat a Main Live Lobster for only $ 15. The service was good and the cleaness was decent. I recommend the sea food fest for sure.

I don’t think there was anything good. Sushi had the same flavor and nothing made them special. The other food was flavorless… i shouldn’t have to add salt to «asian food». There wasn’t anything really American Asian. It was all can or frozen. Nothing tasted fresh. Service was okay… at best. Did’nt receive our drinks for a while and had to remind the waitress. Green tea shouldn’t take two bags to make it strong. All that i was drinking was hot water with coloring. Shame koizumi went out of business. Never coming back…30 bucks was not worth what we ate or the quality of the food.

So I finally went back to this restaurant last night. I was craving some crab legs and oysters but didn’t want to go to a fancy and expensive restaurant. I also tried some new sushi rolls that I hadn’t seen anywhere else and they were amazing. My husband had the hibachi and said that the meat was excellent quality and the portion was very generous. Our waitress was super nice, she offered a nice glass of wine and it ended up being a lovely date. Totally coming back soon!

Heres my review of koizumi. Which is now known as time 2 buffet. There are no longer any asian americans working here. Its owned by a Spanish family and that’s all that works there now. This is my review on their food: they went from big chunks of crab meat to stringy little pieces. The sushi isnt filled half the dishes were empty the labels for the sushi and chinese food werent in the right place. And lets get started on the Chinese. It’s all fried and super soggy. They have mashed potatoes. Fries and fried chicken. Their lo mein is gross their chicken and broccoli is dried up and the chicken looks like its cooked past the point of nothing. Their rangoons are mostly the dough no filling. And the calamari was a dried up rubbery mess. The tempura was so like eating a mouthful of oil and was so bland. The spring roll tasted of what u would get from a microwave dinner. Their desserts were equally gross. Nothing says asian about this place anymore expect for maybe the sumu men statue. The guy seems nice and like hes trying but this is worst thing to happen to this restaurant. Itll be our last time. Too bad .if I could give less than 1 star I would.

I wanted to love it… but i just couldn’t. Service was pleasant. My husband was excited to see the crawfish. The place was empty so the sushi wasn’t moving and therefore the raw sushi seemed warm. Dessert was standard… nothing to write home about. I did appreciate that the server brought the cc checkout to me. Don’t think I will be back.
