Bought a $ 65 clock, got it home, didnt work. Took it back, no exchange said they would fix it. Came back to pick up and they fixed the clock, but broke the face and then tried to blame it on me! Nothing but scam artists.

I have been visiting Laughlin with my family about 3 times a year for the past several years and from our very first stay; I discovered and fell in love with The Watchman! It is not an exaggeration when they claim to have over 20,000 watches and or clocks! It is a super fun place! I am like a kid in candy store as it is a world of all things sparkly and unique, and it is where I hang out while my hubby gambles. During every visit I have bought at least one fancy watch as the price tag makes it impossible not to. I have never been disappointed and still own and receive many compliments on the ones I have from years or months past! At the end of this last visit, I did of course spend time in the store and made another purchase. Alas, through no fault of The Watchman or mine, I did realize something had gone awry with my new item on my drive home. Although, I was advised to «cut my losses» and accept that there was likely not going to be any assistance from the store. But being in customer service myself, I felt reaching out was worth a try. I paid the postage, returned the watch, wrote a genuinely complimentary letter to the manager/owner and asked if there was anything that could be done. I did realize my labors might have gone unheeded as I do understand they are a busy tourist shop. I was however amazed at the speed in which a personal call to my house was made by one of the store managers, Terry Kelly herself, and an offer of store credit with an extension of allowable time to use it was given to me! I was and continue to be so impressed that a small store specializing in immediate gratification would be so very accommodating. It is because of this and all my other fabulous experiences in this pretty place that I am of course a fan of The Watchman for life! I highly recommend everyone visit this establishment when in the Riverside Resort in Laughlin NV.

The Watch Man Store — claiming to be the world’s largest watch store«and they may be right», where you will find over 20,000 watches and clocks here with most under $ 20.00. My better half has never been disappointed after a visit! We try to get to Laughlin about 3 times a year and The Watch Man is always on her to do list. After a recent visit she purchased a watch that broke about 45 minutes after we left the store. The break was no fault of the store; it was simply the style she picked out. Unfortunately for her we were already headed back to CA and I had no intention of turning back«guess that makes me the bad guy in this story». A few days after we got home we wrote the store a letter to see if there was anything they could do like(repair, replace, refund, etc…) even though I explained that it was more likely they would do nothing because, they always seemed be more of a tourist trap type business«Wow was I wrong!». Within 3 days of her letter I received a call from the store manager letting me know they have of course have a No Refund Policy and could not do repairs(which is understandable), and they were unable to find another copy of the particular watch for replacement. While I was pleasantly surprised they would even consider replacement, I was even more shocked when the manager asked how often we get to the area and then offered a store credit(normally good for 30 days but she extended to 90 days)! The fact that a small business which deals mostly with tourist traffic and sells(I mean no insult) trinkets, would extend such courtesy to an infrequent patron validates their credibility as a reputable business. I highly recommend you stop by when visiting the Laughlin area.

i’m writing a second review to let the public know of their customer service so you will absolutely know not to do business with this company. we have filed a complaint with the better business bureau in july of 2012. after 3 months there has been no communication from the watchman. they are not accountable to anyone, so run from them.
