A Cut Above

I wish I had a better experience at this barbershop. I like the fact they we open on Sunday’s so I called the barber Kevin to whom I was referred to by a colleague. I called Kevin around 1pm and he told me to come in for 4:30p. I arrived about 5 minutes before and someone was in the chair. I said to myself cool I will wait for him to finish this head. Once he was done the guys head in the chair someone else got in the chair. After, the next another person got in the chair. I thought he may have overbooked and was getting the people out of the way.
Even with people starting to leave another barber asked me who I was waiting for to which I said Kevin and the barber pointed to Kevin and said «Kevin» to which I replied «yes». Around 5:30p Kevin begins to pack up as if he’s about to leave. Which in fact he was leaving so I said «what’s up?!» Kevin replies «Well, you didn’t say you was waiting for me and I have to go catch my cab»!
I waited an entire hour to get my haircut for Kevin to say he has to go!
I will not giving them my business ANYMORE!
Customer Service goes a long way– to bad they do not know about that here.

Just finished getting my hair transformed. I was going to a barber out district heights and i wanted something closer, so i came here. Barber Howard was awesome and informative when it came to my hair. His cut was exactly what i wanted and he even gave good tips about keeping my hair healthy. Definitely will go back and recommend him to everyone.

Piankhi has been cutting my hair for several months now. He’s an amazing barber who takes pride in his craft. Always a plus when you have a barber who takes appointments, he gets you in and out. I’m particular about my hair and P takes his time and does it right. Definitely recommended.

My barber Piankhi Sikia is great. I always look for a barber who can give a sharp razor shape up. Piankhi’s hot towel razor shape up and shave reminds you of how old school barbers used to roll. Every two weeks I am at A Cut Above.
