Im convinced that this organization does not believe in good customer service and building loyalty! The service I received even before a contract could be signed was horrible and I’m glad my clients and I will NOT be using their services. I set up a meeting with Joann and she cancelled. We set a new meeting which was not as productive as I thought. At the end of the meeting she commits to having a quote to me by the following monday… I had to follow up on TUESDAY for the quote. which she had NOT done. Her excuse was that it was the busy season. OKFINE… She then commits to having the quote by Thursday… I HADTOFOLLOWUPAGAIN… and needless to say the quote still was not done. the excuse then was it was a busy week and all the senior managers were out of town and she could not get the quote approved… REALLY??! My clients would think I was crazy if i gave them these excuses… Do a lot of research and make sure you are ready for the«run around»… I STILLDONTHAVE A QUOTE!

We love CDE!!! Im sorry to see anything but 5 stars on their review. I do know however that Mr. Fox is no longer a part of CDE. They are innovative, talented, inspiring, passionate and honest team of designers and event professionals you’ll ever come across. Incredibly warm and just down right wonderful people to work with and to do an array of top notch services for an amazing event. My family has known them from the start and have always had a great experience with CDE. We highly recommend them.

If I could give negative stars I would. I cannot speak for the services of Capital Décor & Events, but I can speak to one of their owners/planners, Jeffrey Fox. Jeffrey came highly recommended to me as a wedding planner from a former co-worker when he worked for his previous company. I met with Jeffrey and got a long great with him. I really only need a day of planner for my wedding and Jeffrey seem completely capable… so I thought. I really didn’t have much contact with him from the beginning(I guess looking back that should have been a big fat red flag) but every time I did asked for something he provided, i.e. schedule for the day of(although he did send me the schedule with my name spelled incorrectly… I guess attention to detail is not needed for wedding planning) about 4 months before my wedding, Jeffrey left his company to work for Capital Décor, but said he would continue to work my wedding. Well the week of my wedding(Monday – I was getting married that Saturday) I get a call from the owner of the company that he just left saying Jeffrey just informed them that he was not going to work my wedding and that he was refusing to hand over any of the details i.e. photos of the venue, decoration, florist contact etc. I was freaking out as you can image, and frankly, I could not believe someone would do that. The lack of professionalism just stunned me, especially with his resume I just expected a professional. Not only did Jeffrey refuse to turn over any of his notes but it turns out that he didn’t do any work on my wedding and was suppose to be in contact with my band to make sure they had my wedding song(they didn’t and I didn’t get the song I wanted) he didn’t do anything with organizing all of the vendors, so no one was on the same page. In the end, my wedding turned out fantastic and none of the guest noticed the glitches. But I did — I was a bride that had my planner quit the week of her wedding. My advice, never ever use Jeffrey Fox!
