This place is pretty shady on the outside, but it is pretty awesome on the inside. The store is clean, well-​stocked, and the owners are incredibly knowledgeable. Prices are average for the area, and selection is on par with Total Wine (lots of local brews and smaller-​scale brands in addition to the expected Miller Lite). Don’t get scared off by the police car always parked out front, this place is a great hidden spot.

Yes, it’s small, and yes, the parking lot is tiny, but the selection of spirits and wine is amazing, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable. Sure, there are people in line to buy lottery tickets and bottles of Bud, but don’t let that stop of you from seeking out some of the bottles that would be difficult or impossible to find elsewhere, e.g. four types of spirits from Hudson Baby Bourbon. Sweet!

Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is a hidden gem. The space may be limited, but the selection is anything but. This is a family owned and run business, and it is very apparent in the service provided. Mia is extremely knowledgeable and always willing if possible to order whatever it is you are looking for. This is my favorite liquor store.

Lived in Laurel my whole life and never went to cork and bottle… until tonight.
What total surprise! clean, well stocked, interesting choices and great selection. Not to mention extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Picked up a couple of her recommended beers and they were a hit. Can’t wait to try the Ginger beer with pineapple vodka she suggested.
I will be back! …Often

I love going to Cork and Bottle — when we first moved here my Mother kept calling it all different funny names… It doesn’t have a pretty façade but it’s first class inside. Mia is the lady who runs the place with some family members. She’s amazing and friendly. The staff is great too — can’t remember names but they always my favorite Sancerre on hand and some cool beers that my husband likes.

We go here to get wine when we go to the italian restaurant next door. The lady who runs the place always has excellent recommendations on wine for our dinner. She is always friendly.
