I’ve been working with Dottie’s Trophies for just a few months for customized award creation and fulfillment. I am especially pleased with their fast turnaround and flexibility with regards to my requests. Everything is handled electronically and I know that once an order is placed that it will be done to my satisfaction and arrive on time. I find them to be professional, responsive and definitely recommend them.

I have been using this establishment for more than 10 years for plaques and trophies. The level of service is great, the understanding of the project is always on point. I submit my projects to them as graphic files via email and the items are always made to my specifications and satisfaction. I have referred many of my friends and associates to Dottie’s Trophies and never got a negative feedback from them regarding their experience.

They can’t work with a USB drive, vector files, PDF’s, etc. They insist that camera-ready means different sizes of your logo in black and white on a «slick piece of of paper.» Talked to me(with 20+ yrs of printing experience and an MA in English) like I was a foreigner who knew very little.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. When I walked in to order my two plaques, I quickly found a good model of what I was looking for on the wall. Then I waited for a good 5 minutes while the man behind the counter finished up his personal phone call. He didn’t really engage while taking my order, acted like he was doing me a favor: one-word answers, didn’t really offer any extra information when I was asking questions. When I went to pick up my order, they had made changes to it. On my plaque, I had one line of text. They decided to split it into two lines. I don’t really mind this, as it looks fine, but as a customer I should have been contacted to make sure this was ok. No one ever asked me, nor did they inform me when I dropped off my order that this change might be made. They grudgingly offered to remake it, but I needed to present the plaques that same day so this wasn’t an option. I asked for 10% off, and the person helping me went to get the owner. Instead of agreeing that I should have been contacted regarding the change, the owner said things like«well, this wouldn’t fit, we had to put it on two lines». She did not have an answer when I asked why I wasn’t informed of the change before it was made. She also mentioned — several times — that this had never been a problem in her years of owning the shop. I find it hard to believe that no one had EVER been dissatisfied, but whatever. I maintained that I should have been contacted regarding the change, and finally, she agreed to knock off 10%, but also stated, «next time, you should check to see whether we are going to change it before hand.» IMO, they should check with ME to see if it’s ok to change before they go ahead and change it, but since I won’t be using them again for anything, it’s a non-issue.
