I went to this office 27 Feb13 and wish I would’ve listen to my gut upon arrival. I called 1800-​DENTIST and was told that this dentist office accepts my insurance and had good ratings. I scheduled an appointment and I was told to be there at 1:45 (to fill out paperwork), my time is valuable especially during a workday. Got there at 1:45 and the door was locked.
I should’ve immediately went back to work. This lack of communication rubbed me the wrong way. I decided to call the number to see if they were even in. Someone picked up the phone and said they were at lunch, I informed them that I was specifically told to be there 1:45. MOVING ON… I came into the office and filled out the paperwork. Shame on me, I didn’t have my insurance card, but I know how easy it is for them to call and confirm coverage, if needed. No questions were asked by Rossy at this point. I went into the back got my teeth cleaned by Holly who was pleasant. Docter came in and took maybe a 2 mins looking me over. His evaluation felt very rushed. I was told that I had 4 cavities and to schedule another appointment. I go back to the front office to schedule my next appointment.
I knew my dental insurance was very good, so no worries about payment. Upon scheduling the first cavity treatment I questioned Rossy to check my out of pocket. I was told $ 770. I laughed and questioned them about being in network. Rossy goes on to tell me that they do accept the insurance, they can submit to the insurance and they will reimburse me. Why would I go through the difficulty in doing that when I could go to someone in network? I thought it was insane that they expect me to pay out of pocket for every visit and not confirm that with me before the work is done. I will not be going back. Do not waist your time going here. Something is not quite right about this office. And if you dare was your time, check pricing before you go to the back.
