Sleeping in your car in the Walmart parking lot is better than this. Take my word for it

Very helpful staff. Front Desk agents Chris and Marleen go out of their way to make sure guests have access to amenities and workarounds are founded if needed.

Perhaps my older review sounds harsh but I wasn’t trying to be funny. Honestly the best thing about this hotel is Walmart is across the street. McDonald’s is within walking distance(Thank you McDonald’s for letting me borrow your wifi). And that’s it. So, I didn’t notice but Knights Inn has many rooms. I’m a light sleeper when I’m somewhere iffy. It sucked only sleeping 3 hrs after doing a road trip from Miami, Fl to Maryland. My eyes were sore and I woke up with and jumped when I heard footsteps running. The doors/windows let even rustling leaves sound like they’re attacking the door. The staff are either loud or the door just can’t keep anything from coming in. In the mornings it was very windy, again the damn door! It sounds like someone is lightly knocking on the door. The Tv has bad reception, there’s about 10 channels. And no, it’s not a flat screen, don’t bring your roku or xbox! Thankfully, I bought 3 extra covers, I couldn’t sleep on their covers nor pillow. As you can see on the pictures«smoke free they say but it surely wasn’t me that put those burn marks on the sheets. The bed was somewhat comfortable although it was nearly touching the ground? It was smelly, I can’t pin point the smell, but I came prepared with lysol so goodbye stench! The floors are flimsy. My mother was my neighbor and if it weren’t for the 20 degrees that I’m not use to I’d have to run bothering her every hour. I kept hearing noises like if she or my step dad fell but she said it was the person next to her! THISPLACEISTOONOISY! Wifi– so on my phone and laptop it showed full bars, but I couldn’t connect. I went to the front desk and the woman on shift said the manager is thinking of switching to another company. I know I was transparent and had this confused face, she didn’t care, not even a sorry for the inconvenience! As for the bathrooms I looked @ the pictures I posted, on my behalf I have no reason other than the truth to put this hotel down. The towels in my room and my mother’s were hand towels and wash cloth size. Kitchenette– the stove, oven and microwave worked. This is the 1st kitchenette I come to where you need to bring your own stuff to cook. The refrigerator however doesn’t completely close. I left a water bottle in the freezer for nearly 24 hours and it wasn’t even slightly frozen. Funny story, I tried flat ironing my hair before bed and set off the smoke alarm. Apparently the only thing that works exaggeratingly well is the smoke alarm. This was the worst motel experience..

Dirty walls that look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The TV remote does not work from bed. They only had 3 large towels even though we had 4 people in the room. Previous guests stuff was found on the floor near the bed by the wall. The room had an odor. The wifi was ok, but not that great… And the best part was the bed… not. It felt like it had a slant and was going to roll off the bed. Save your money and go somewhere else.
