This is a nice little neighborhood spot. Food is made to order and is good. Not a fan of the Yumm Yumm sauce as its a little too runny for my liking. I wish they had more vegetables to choose from. They have a cabbage and carrot mix for vegetables, but I would love to see some onions and peppers. To be able to pay less than $ 10 for a large amount of hibachi style food is awesome! I get to pick two proteins and 3 sides. I normally do a little noodles and double vegetables. I get the scallions/spring onions, sesame seeds and extra teriyaki sauce at the end. The also have bento boxes and sushi specials. Haven’t tried either, although the sushi menu looks tempting and that too is made to order. The Tables are your typical carry out/diner style seating. Nothing fancy about it at all. It’s functional in the sense that if you want to sit and eat you can do so. They have a TV but the program was in another language and didn’t look like anything that comes on regular tv. They have coke products both in the bottle or the fountain… just depends on your choice. The other cool thing is that they give you a punch card. So I believe it’s after you make 5 purchases your 6th one is free! So far I’ve purchased 2 ! If you want something quick that’s not charged by how much it weighs then check them out! Don’t forget your punch card!

Not good, this is edible at best. The beef was all fat, my daughter liked her chicken though. Fried rice was not cooked fresh, noodles were limp, the yum yum sauce smelled like it was left I the sun for days.

The dinner dilemma on Saturday night at 9:30 was solved by a quick trip to this place. Luckily I live few blocks away. The name of the place is Quick Way and they do their best to get your meal to you in the shortest time possible. It’s like you are in, and you are out in no time. I like the fact that all the cashiers are very friendly, and no matter who is behind the counter you will find a smiley face speaking to you. I find it very welcoming. The ones that are cooking, understandably busy doing their job and will not communicate much. But if you have a special request, they will do it for you. They have a loyalty program, if you buy some numbers of meal you get a meal for free. But unfortunately I always forget to take the punch card with me. I like eating here time to time and haven’t been disappointed yet.

First, the food is amazing. Whatever you get just add the yum yum sauce and you may never leave. Second, the employees are very friendly and accommodating. Third, you cannot beat the price for the amount of food and quality. Simply wonderful. Will be back many times.

PROS: amazing customer service(Asian lady is a doll!), food is on point, many side options, they have YUMYUMSAUCE and they offer stamp cards(get 5 stamps and your next meal is free!) CONS: none! i have been to the one in Rockville and it is HORRIBLE. they give a limited amount of yum yum sauce and if you want more, it’s a $ 1 extra! plus they didn’t have pasta or any other side options. lame! laurel’s location is THEBEST!

Great sushi. Love the bento boxes and reminds me of being in Japan. This is a fast food style of sushi and I love the concept when you on the go and don’t want to sit-down. Clean and is the freshest sushi my family and I have had in Maryland. Try it and let me know.

Quickway is similar to the Saku place down the street but is a great place for a bite to eat. I believe they offer Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Pork, Steamed cabbage, Fried Rice, or Noodles, or side Salad. The Yum-Yum sauce is on-point, but the Siracha sauce got me hooked. Omg, it’s delicious.

The service here is the best thing about them. The food is decent. If you get the hibachi, I recommend asking them to put any cold salad sides in a separate container. The hibachi portions are so large that the lettuce ends up getting mixed up with, and cooked by, the entrée and no one likes hot lettuce. The sushi is pretty darn good considering the reasonable prices.

This place is tasty and quick hibachi, as the name suggest. I love coming here when I’m in the mood. The down side is the food is greasy and the chicken used is dark meat and it tastes like thigh meat but I’m not 100% sure on the part of the chicken. I never wait in line. I’ve only had the shrimp and chicken which are fine. No complains and it’s pretty cheap for $ 6 or so for 1 protein and they have tofu. About $ 7 ish for 2 protiens and maybe $ 8 for 3. They also have sushi but I’ve never tried it. Parking is always ample.

Food was decent, liberal portions of sides like rice and noodles but the meat portion was lacking. Flavor overall was good on the hibachi beef. The sushi rolls were terrible, no flavor, just tasted like rice. Bad choice on the rolls. Now for the bad part. They had two giant TVs with the volume blaring a Spanish station. It was apparent that this was a Hispanic sushi attempt but to listen to crazy talking Hispanic programming during your lunch was beyond the pail for me. Btw ~ I happen to be Hispanic so no race issues, just tacky restaurant issues.

The pluses: You get your money’s worth and then some. Portion sizes are HUGE and the price — beverage, shrimp w/veggies & a 4-piece order of sushi = $ 10.00 Fresh — carrots, cabbage, onions and broccoli, all cooked to a semi-crunch perfection and so fresh, they were sweet Didn’t skimp on the shrimp Friendly service Minuses: No splenda — what’s a diabetic to do? Spanish music cranked extra loud, so much so; I couldn’t even think Spanish TV, blasting Odd that the noodles offered, weren’t fried with the rest of the meat & veggies, but when asked to do so; our request was obliged Question — what was that light-colored orangey sauce, near the Sriracha?

I have been here at least 5 times and food is always good. I usually order chicken hibachi, i think their side items can be improved by offering more variety. When ordering make sure you ask for extra yum-yum sauce. This time i got the bento box. The box lasted for 3 meals and is the best value. Customer service is always friendly and courteous

nice staff, good portions for the money you pay. I’ve tried the chicken, beef, and tofu and all 3 are great! and buying 5 and getting a hibachi chicken is nice when you have their stamp card. and the wait is never long and nice dine in area as well kept clean and maintained.

Then order process was simple and straight forward. Food was cooked to order and finished promptly. The food was very tasty. The food portions were generous. The over all look of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing. Definitely, will frequent this restaurant and recommend it to other.

Very friendly staff! Food was good! We love the different sushi rolls! We wish they would post their specials somewhere. We ate here once and the rolls were cheap(like 3 for $ 8) and another time, it was comparable. Last time, there were no promos. The chicken teriyaki was quite tasty! Their special sauce is good on almost anything!

This is definitely my go to place in the area for something quick and filling. I’ve tried the salmon, tofu, and shrimp meals. Salmon and tofu were pretty bland and uninviting. Heads up, depending on who is working you make or may not get all of your shrimp cleaned properly…

It is Chipotle meets Panda Express in Tokyo. The hibachi offerings are pretty tasty. I have tried all but the tofu and all have been tasty. The veg(just like Panda Express) and rice are laid down and then your entrée is put on top once it comes off the griddle. The sushi is to be avoided at all costs! Not good.

This establishment is kinda like an Asian Chipotle. They have the modern industrial theme décor and you pick a protein and your fillings. This review is for their sushi only. My mom lives in the area and mentioned that they had opened a new Japanese place in the area. We decided to check it out and were kinda bummed to see that it was a fast food — hibachi kinda place. But we were so hungry and had been set on having sushi — so we gave it a try. Easy to navigate menu. Everything was decently priced. We ordered 5 special rolls and it totaled around $ 40 something. Green Dragon Cherry Blossom Hoppin Jalapeño California Tempura Salmon Lover Rolls were good. But not the best or the worst. They had way too much rice rolled on and some of the fish was a little on the fishier side. Definitely not interested in coming back for sushi or even trying their hibachi options.

Industrial looking space with techno music playing. Counter and tables, no waiter service. Proteins were gently cooked with a mild teriyaki sauce, sesame seeds and scallions added as you like. Noodles and fried rice were standard, pepper salad had lots of jalapenos. California roll was OK given that I’m a sashimi fan. Extra credit for green tea in the dispenser and free WiFi, and quantity/price. Rounding up to four stars as a pleasant gobble-and-go. Footnote now that I’ve got a real keyboard — as I was starting to eat, a number of Laurel city police came in for supper. I gotta figure that’s like seeing a bunch of semis in front of a diner — they know where decent chow can be found.
