This location is convenient for me since it is close to my home and I go there often. However, I recent found that another post below about the spoilage dates is true. Bought yoghurt and when I tried to eat it after a few days, noticed the expiry date was a month back. Didnt have the purchase receipt with me, so had to throw it away. Need to be more careful in the future.

When I’m staying with my friends in Laurel this is my local grocery store. It’s a smallish sized store that is fairly quiet most of the time and doesn’t seem to have a busy time of day. If you are looking for canned or pre packaged goods then this is the store for you, there is a small selection of fresh goods which is expensively priced. If I was living here full time I would probably need a larger store to do my main weekly purchase but for topping up on goods this is ideal. I don’t seem to speak to any staff here as I can usually find my way around easily and the check out area is automated.

Definitely not the best market in the area. Watch those cell dates and spoilage on veg and fruit. Employees are generally nice but you get the sense that management is not up to par. You could wait at customer service for awhile — kind of like they are doing you a favor. Pharmacy is dicey, at best. Good for outdoor stuff like flowers, potting soil, etc.

I used to shop here all the time, but their quality has declined recently. I’ve gotten 2 spoiled packages of ground turkey at different times and I also got a carton of soured milk from them. This all happened within the last 9 months, and I am NOT the type of person who tends to have problems with this sort of stuff. One instance I can understand, but 3 times in less than a year? They have really gone downhill recently and when I go here I only shop from the«middle aisles» now. I really only go to this Weis when I absolutely have to — I will usually drive the few extra miles to the Food Lion off of Ice Crystal Drive or the Harris Teeter in Maple Lawn.

This store has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The employees look at you as if they are doing you a favor by waiting on you and then it takes forever. I was in the store today waiting at the seafood counter, which was unattended. An employee walked by, looked me straight in the eye, and then went through the door next to the seafood counter. She never asked if I was being helped, or said that she would find someone to help me. I saw her minutes later coming out of another door drinking coffee. I’ve complained numerous times about customer service in this store, but it just doesn’t sink in. Either they are stupid or just don’t care. Weis is in the top ten worst grocery stores in the country, and the biggest reason is customer service.

This place is mediocre at best. Out of all the ocre’s this place is the mediest. The only reason I even come here is because it’s conveniently on the way home from my gym. The prices are very high. There aren’t that many cashiers working.

I have given up on this location. They never have what I need. The produce section is just sad. The last few months have shown a huge decline in quality. I do love the staff. They always greet me, talk to my son and are so helpful. I wish they had a better selection.

The other reviews are on the money. This store is dirty and run down. They also are no longer less expensive. The staff is lethargic and move a glacial pace. Most of the time I drive right past them and go to Harris Teeter. An odd thing my daughter discovered is that your Weis bonus card works at Teeter and vica-versa.

I go here when I’m in a rush and can’t make it to Harris Teeter or at least the Bloom. This place feels dirty and old. I’ve found expired bread and milk on the shelves waiting to be purchased. If you have the time, go to the various other supermarket establishments on RT216, otherwise please check your food before purchasing at the Weis.

Been visiting this store when in the area for the last 10 years. This store has a run down feel and is generally not very clean and neat. Stuff is just laying around and staff does not seem in a rush to clean things up. Stuff to be stocked sits on the aisled in the middle of the day. Did the guy stocking things just leave and no one cares??? The newer store on Rte 1 is a much better alternative and worth the drive!
