I feel I may start gaining weight because I cannot get enough of Scooptacular ice cream! They hand craft their ice cream and come up with some wild flavors you can’t help but try and not only is it fun, it’s delicious! I had surgery and flew my mom down to help me. She took the kids and I figured they went and got ice cream. They did but got it at DQ. We are spoiled here in Laveen! I was upset that it wasn’t Scooptacular… it’s just so fresh and creamy… dreamy…delicious! Their handcrafted milkshakes are made with the local dairy milk, they will be using the dairy milk for their ice cream soon and I can’t wait! Scooptacular also does all sorts of activities with the laveen schools and they have a kid table and a tv that plays movies while you enjoy the dessert and the atmosphere! They have ice cream cakes that are AMAZING!!!

Best tasting ice cream around!!! The staff is always friendly and you are supporting a local small business who uses fresh ingredients in their ice cream! I’m addicted to their Oatmeal Cookie ice cream and with seasonal flavors to choose from throughout the year this is where I buy all my ice cream!!!

Not so good, no yogurt selections only to retailers. Even though that’s not what there web site says. Just ice cream is served, tried the sugar added praline they offer not good and way too expensive … Staff was nice.

Had dark chocolate ice cream with cinnamon and sugar, WOW, it’s delicious! ! Tried Mango ice cream too. Will have to get that next time. My daughter wants me to tell everyone about the free waffle cone upgrade for Unilocalers. Great local, family owned business that outshines the chains.

I love this place. The shaved ice is my favorite. I just wish you had more sugar-​free or Splenda favors. Today I went and settled for the Splenda strawberry flavor, but it ran out. So we had to mix with pineapple. It was good, but due to my disability, I felt limited. I know Bahama Bucks has several Sugar-​free flavors, but would like to support local businesses. Is it that hard or more difficult to support us that can’t have regular sugar?

Love this place, little local ice cream shop that cares about the community. Always involved with different events. Definitely worth stopping to give them a try.

I stopped in for a treat after I heard about how great this place is. I came in on a weekday in the mid-​afternoon and ordered a double scoop of cookie dough ice cream. Now, I would say that it was not the greatest ice cream I’ve ever had, but it was quite possibly the freshest. And that counts for a lot. It was very good, however I may try another flavor if I am ever in the area again.
About the flavors, I did notice that there were a lot of them that did not suit my tastes, which surprised me. I did find the service to be excellent, the young staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I also would say that the seating inside is minimal, so if you come at a busy time, you may not be able to sit inside. In the end, this is the second best ice cream shop I’ve been to in Arizona.

I’ve only been here once but had a great experience. I tried a couple flavors and took my time to make my choices and the fellow behind the counter was very patient and friendly. I felt like he legitimately wanted to be there. They must take great care of their employees, which is something very important to me.
The ice cream was amazing. Absolutely 100% perfect, will definitely come back for more. So many flavors to choose from, too. Even more than what’s on their website.
We need more places like this in Laveen. It’s so unique. It’s the only business around here that I feel has any pride in what they do. Now I need a similar coffee shop and I’ll be satisfied!

Great customer service, delicious icecream and so many flavors to choose from! I love that this is so close to home! My personal favorite is oatmeal cookie. Id highly recommend this shop to icecream lovers everywhere! also to those sorbet lovers they usually have a handful of flavors for you!

Amazing customer service and flavors.
On my first visit I was warmly greeted and shown all if the offerings scooptacular had and was offered samples to my liking. Every flavor was simply amazing.
All in all I was very happy with this visit and would highly recommend scooptacular over some of the more well known chains.

I have enjoyed coming here since it opened. But to be honest, their prices are getting a little outrageous and now for a kids size you literally get 2 gumball size scoops for almost $ 3.00. Come on now. I love to support a mom n pop shop but they need to re-​evaluate their prices. Yes their product is good but to pay for a family of 3 and one is a child it comes out to $ 15. in change. I have noticed they aren’t as busy as their first months of business. I even went one time and the guy scoop a pint for me to take home and I know the manager very well from him working at Starbucks and he literally scolded him for putting too much ice cream in the container and pointed out «That’s why we have the scale» For $ 8.00 you would think they could be a little more genorious with their serving to equal their pricing!

I love Scooptacular! The ice cream is always fresh and delicious. What I love even more is how much the Village of Laveen supports this place. On Labor Day Sunday night, the line was through the stanchions and almost back to the door! What a wonderful sight to see.
The kid’s tables with kid sized chairs is such a fun touch. My 4 y/​o loves that part almost as much as she loves the vanilla bean ice cream!

The ice cream is amazing! The Butter Pecan is some of the best we’ve ever had! Our other favorites are Pistachio and Coconut Almond. The German Chocolate is a wonderful choice when available. If you go early enough make sure you ask if they have the homemade waffle cones available. They are delicious! We’ve enjoyed everything we’ve tried and love that they offer pints, quarts and gallons.

This place is great everyone is nice and great service they also have great ice cream. Would definitely recommend

Ok. I have to say that at first sight, I was not excited that I couldn’t «make» my own mix-​ins. I really was hoping to pick my ice cream flavor and add my mix-​ins. This is more of a traditional ice cream store model.
However, after scanning the flavors — and realizing it was hot outside and I went there because of this anyway — I decided to buy a pint and take it home to try it out.
First — a great option is you can choose two and do a «half and half» pint. This is great to try flavors, and not only that, you get two flavors in one pint! So I chose the Reese’s peanut butter and the Chocolate Overload (chocolate base ice cream with fudge brownies, chocolate crunch and fudge).
Holy cow! I was impressed by both. The peanut butter was extremely flavorful and the ice cream rich. The Chocolate Overload — the chocolate flavor was intense, the brownies were soft and the chocolate crunch was a pleasant surprise as opposed to chocolate chips — more like a crunch bar. All delicious.
The next time I tried the mint variety with Girl Scout thin mints in it. While this was still delicious — I have to say I liked the other two better. Felt like the mint could be a little stronger — or even better, more natural mint. Either way, not a bad option as well.
I would definitely go back here. So far, I have not been disappointed!

We absolutely love this place! The ice cream is amazing! Their standard flavors are spot on. I personally love the chocolate chip cookie dough because they use whole chocolate chips and the ice cream tastes like the butter/​brown sugar cream base off a cookie dough recipe (not just plain vanilla with cookie dough). Try the Cookie Monster flavor, the blue color threw me off, but cotton candy ice cream never tasted so good! Prices are good too, especially for the portion, quality, and supporting a local family owned business.

Just made my first trip to Scooptacular. I asked for a two scoop bowl. I indicated that for my first scoop, I’d like mint chip ice cream. The girl behind the counter told me that she thought they might be out of mint chip ice cream, and made me wait while she went to check in the back. Sure enough, she came back empty handed. Since they were out of that, I asked instead for both of my scoops to be of the concrete flavor. Turns out, they were out of that too.
I’m not sure how they operate when they don’t carry all of their flavors on a daily basis.

Fun little ice cream shop!
We were in the mood for some ice cream in the West Valley and Unilocal’d for the best option. Made our way to Scooptacular and ended up having a fun ice cream run. Was even impressed that the prices aren’t killer.
The shop is kid-​friendly and they have a mix of custom flavors that turn you indecisive. You almost want a triple scoop to avoid missing a delicious flavor that will haunt you later. And the review that said the waffle cones are perfect for eating with the ice cream nailed it.
Definitely worth repeat visits and it appears there are families that make this shop a routine tradition. The staff is very friendly and knew other visitors, some by name. And from the items on the walls, the shop owners try hard to be good corporate citizens and give back to the community.
Tip: They do have a loyalty card!
