Reva Threading

I have been to this place 2 other times, and didnt have a bad experience in fact it was a good experience. i usually go to Ziba, and because i work in the area, i needed them done i was going out of town. I went in for the 3^rd time and got a women i never seen before. She asked where i normally go and i said ziba, she was talking about how bad business is at ziba and that they don’t do threading right. She already did one side of my eyebrow and then the thread snapped on left eyebrow and had to get more thread, it was right near the very front bottom corner of eyebrow she took my whole corner of eyebrow off, and said oh it needs to grow back which yea, it needed to grow back it wasn’t like that when i went in. I have a bald spot and have to draw my eyebrows in pretty dark, but its bald. I have thought about writing this post for weeks and its taking a long time for it to grow back, like its already been over 6 weeks and i still have to draw them in, barely growing in and my person at ziba said it takes about 2 months to grow back. I was pretty upset, but still tipped the lady and she walked off upset. I was still giving a tip to show respect, but i will not be coming here anymore. The worker did not apologize and said that yea it needed to grow back as if i came in like that already.

I used to go here back then when I started threading my eyebrows. They’ve made my brows thinner and thinner every time I went hoping they would give me the perfect eyebrow arch, but nope. My brows turned out uneven and unbelievably thin because of this place. Until I found threading zone! My new go to place that is only $ 5 and the threading process is less than 5 minutes! They actually listen to what shape I want. I def recommend Jessica at Threading zone she is amazing at threading brows.

she CUT my face! and blamed it on me that my face was too soft! it was horrible, i had a date that night too! I really wish i didn’t go. It’s been swollen for the past 4 days. :(

I just drove here because it said it was open on Unilocal and that they open at 9am. Just to find out they were closed.

I love getting my eyebrows done here. The staff is very nice/​caring and does a great job. I don’t go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done anymore. Also, it doesn’t hurt when I get my brows threaded here. :D

I had my eyebrows and upper lip done by a really sweet nepalese lady. She’s fast, gentle, and talks to you throughout the process to distract you from the (minimal) discomfort. Awesome, I just wish I had come on Monday or Tuesday for the $ 5 deal!

Mondays and Tuesdays, eyebrows are only $ 5. Great to just walk in. This is where I usually get my brows done. Sometimes my eyebrows are great, other times there ok. You should give it a try. The employees are friendly too.

I have some hairy caterpillars called eyebrows that get out of control. I had the best shape done and she also took time and wasn’t rushing. I will most definitely come back.

This place is a gem & the price, unbeatable. Monday & Tuesdays, only $ 5! I think the normal price is $ 8. I’m from out of town & needed to get threaded fast. I’m pretty picky about who touches my brows, btw. Out of desperation & lack of time, I Unilocaled eyebrow threading & this was less than a mile from my stuck-​in-​traffic location. I was nervous (terrified actually) that I was taking a chance but I got Laxmi & her gentle smile instantly calmed me. She was awesome! Took her time, was really gentle & gave my brows a beautiful, natural looking shape. Everytime I’m in the L.A. area, I will come see her. (She’s off on Sundays).

One star for not taking my Living social coupon. Lady at front said I needed the print out. I showed her my coupon on my phone… which clearly states you can do! Just a hassle since I was already here. Also parking sucks! I don’t know if it’s worth coming back to. I cant rate on service… but the lady was rude. She didn’t even suggest to have services done. Probably doesn’t care… safe to say she isn’t the owner. Owners care about making their customers happy and making money.

SYMMETRY!!! Clearly this place has no concept of what this is!!! Thanks to these folks i now have a huge space between my eyebrows. Is there a NEGATIVE OPTION on Unilocal?1^st time I came here i got a few cuts (didn’t complain, hey it happens) Second time here is when she messed up my eyebrows. I asked her to fix them, the lady didn’t seem to understand what i was saying so she started to thread on the top. When i asked to stop taking from the top she seemed to get upset because as she was taking from the bottom she GAVE ME A THREAD BURN. My eyebrows look like crap!!! I’ll NEVER go back.
Your Eyebrows frames your face and when they are not as they should one can look extremely different, in a tacky way!

I stumbled across this treasure by accident and 8’m so happy I did! She does an awesome job consistently and I definitely recommend this place!

The owner is very nice, it was fast yet very well done.
Im not from around here but i thought the price was normal compared to other places I’ve been in Chicago and Florida

Leave it up to me to find little gems in random places.
If you haven’t joined the Eyebrow threading bandwagon, you should start now. Yes threading can be a little bit more painful, but the pros outweigh the cons by far. In my experience, threading causes the hair to grow back slower, it doesn’t stretch out my skin (your eyelids are the most delicate), and you only need to follow up every ~2 weeks.
This particular location is awesome because it’s the only one that offers exclusively eyebrow threading in a 5 – 7 mile radius. It’s very convenient and that’s located near the freeway, and you can come here during your lunch hour (like I did). Reva (I’m assuming that’s her name/​owner:)) did a great job at threading my bushy eyebrows into a wonderful sight.
She takes about 15 – 20 minutes to fully thread your eyebrows, which is a little longer in comparison to others, but she examines first then executes in order to give you even, perfectly shaped brows. Might I mention that she’s very delicate with the thread. I’m used to feeling the thread, which has in turn lead me to believe the more pain the better the job, but she proved me wrong!
The only con is the price. I’m used to paying around ~$ 4 – 5 for eyebrow threading – Reva charges $ 7.99. Oh well. When you’re the only shop around for miles, you can charge whatever you want as long as there’s a want.
