How is it that I’ve just learned of this place, after living in the area for so long! The frozen yogurt is delicious and creamier than most froyo places! They have tons of great toppings to choose from. My 4 stars(instead of 5) is simply because they have pretty standard flavors — tasty, but nothing remarkable or different. That said, the staff was friendly, the experience was good, and the froyo was a treat! I’ll definitely be going back!

This place is great. The frozen yogurt is nice and creamy(not runny like some other froyo places)! They don’t have a wide selection of flavors but they have tons of toppings. The store itself is immaculately clean and the staff were friendly. They’re only open certain days during the winter but on Thursdays, college students get 50% off their order!

After driving an hour to TCNJ solo to acquire my sister, it was 8:30PM and I did not feel like driving right back up. So we used Unilocal to find froyo in the middle of nowhere. Anywhere south of Newark is the middle of nowhere to me by the way. And maybe it’s because we were south that the people we held the door for as they left and we went in didn’t say«Thank You». Luckily, the staff was nothing like those patrons. Very nice group. I loved the frozen yogurt. And they had brownies for toppings. Not brownie bits… BROWNIES. Like full out brownies. And cookies. The theme/décor was also nice. It had been a while since my last helping of froyo… two weeks, so maybe I am being too nice… but honestly, I didn’t not like it… and that’s what matters right?

Not deserving of 4.5 stars… ok only. Quite expensive for the location, and quality of product. Not really anything above what you can get in the super market, quite frankly I just wasn’t really satisfied here. Head to Princeton, just a few miles north, for good frozen yogurt and ice cream.

My fiancé and I went on an adventure to try a new Frozen Yogurt place! We could not have been more pleasantly surprised when we stumbled upon Annie’s. The store front is hidden towards the rear of the shopping complex but it allows or a nice spot to enjoy your yogurt outdoors! The place is absolutely spotless and you are greeted by a friendly staff upon entry. So many flavors to choose from including the twist option that we both enjoy! I chose the mint and cookies and cream twist while my fiancé went with the vanilla. We had to ensure that our 5 year old Boxer at home was provided for so we asked for a kids cup to go and the staff was happy to oblige! The topping bar had so many items to choose from and my fiancé was THRILLED with the amount of fresh fruit offered. This topping bar completely trumps our«go-to» frozen yogurt place and will be the reason we return to Annie’s very often from this point out. Check it out!

Just tried this one tonight. While there aren’t as many flavors as Yogurtland, it’s a good alternative if you’re looking for tasty self-service options. I had cake batter, peanut butter and vanilla, with blackberries, raspberries, Reese’s pieces, coconut and chocolate chips. There are a big variety of toppings. And unlike Yogurtland you can get whipped cream :-)

Today I had a day off from work and decided to try a froyo place I’ve never been to before. I learned about Annie’s thanks to an advertisement/coupon in a local paper and thought I would give it a try. I was hoping Annie’s would be better than the YogoMix on Quakerbridge Road which is just ok and maybe closer to the Twist in Princeton(which in my book is the gold standard for froyo in the area). Annie’s did not disappoint. The place is clean as a whistle and the gentleman behind the counter was perfectly friendly. Right off the bat Annie’s scored points by offering 3 different sizes of cups. Granted, at the other places you are not forced to fill the cup ALL the way up… but I usually do. I love my froyo. At least here you can regulate based on the cup sizes. There were several choices of flavors. No matter what on my first visit to a froyo place I get the euro tart and maybe another flavor. To me a froyo place HAS to have its tart flavor down no ifs ands or buts about it. On this trip I selected half tart and half cake mix. Then I moved over to the toppings area. The toppings fare was pretty standard: sprinkles, candies, fresh fruit, etc. I saw a trail mixture but not a pure granola topping which was a bit disappointing — but to be fair… there is a possibility that I simply overlooked it. Had my wife accompanied me she would have been upset that there wasn’t a Captain Crunch topping. I topped my froyo off with some fresh chopped strawberries, a few carob sprinkles and just a few Andes candies bits. All in all it was a great experience. The yogurt was smooth with the right amount of creaminess and the flavors were crisp and distinct in my cup. What makes Annie’s unique in my eyes is that you also have the option to select water ice, ice cream, smoothies or even milkshakes. I asked the attendant if they made the milkshakes from the froyo and he cheerfully advised me that they originally just had the standard chocolate/vanilla/strawberry ice creams for shakes but due to popular demand… they will make a milkshake for you using whatever yogurt you want as well. I look forward to trying this on my next visit. The pricing seemed normal for froyo places in the area and certainly cheaper than Twist over in Princeton. A decent froyo place for sure.

My daughter-in-law took me to Annie’s on a warm day a couple of weeks ago and I must say I loved it. The idea of a serve yourself, buy by the ounce and customize your garnishes frozen yogurt place was totally new to me. What a great concept The place was sparkling clean. The staff could not have been more friendly and the selection of gourmet yogurt flavors(like cookies n crème) and the variety of toppings(everything from shredded coconut to gummy bears) was just amazing. . I opted for vanilla fro-yo with sprinkles, nuts, chocolate sauce(yum) in just the amount I wanted. My cup was weighed and at 49 cents an ounce turned out to be an affordable low fat, lower cal ice cream like treat on a hot day. Simple and delicious What more could a girl want?
