Ahuvas Grill Express

I really enjoyed the shwarma plate, the salads were fresh and the service was perfect.

Tried this place for the first time a few days ago. Restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. This is the ‘express’ location, so the menu is more limited than the full restaurant in Hewlett. I ordered the falafel with tahini sauce and the hummus /​shawarma combo. Everything was delicious. I like the ‘free’ salad you get with an entrée. There are several types of salad available on the salad bar… the purple cabbage salad and the cucumbers are my faves. My only complaints are the limited parking, and they don’t carry the stuffed grape leaves entrée because it’s the express location. Recommended, and will return here.

Great shawarma, falafel is good and fresh, always quick and efficient the shawarma and salads taste better than israel!!!

Love the shawarma here! All varieties are so tasty. If you keep kosher, this is the place to go. It’s so delicious! I wish they had actual tables to sit at, instead of a counter. If you don’t mind the casual setting, this is your place. Great salads at the salad bar too. The guy behind the register is so friendly and helpful. Ask for amba as a condiment!!!

The best falafel I ever had and the best chicken shwarma I had in a while. I had then put done fresh onion inside made it allot better kicked up the taste. Good spices and pretty good portion. My wife had the chicken shwarma platter audio good portion. And the gymnast wad on point. coming back and soon.
The prices aren’t low the only negative. but it’s kosher do your paying for that.

Shawarma is fine, but service is so so. I just called the place at 10:21pm asking until what time they will be open tonight, the manager said «until midnight». I called on 11:30pm to make an order for pick up, and the same guy says «sorry we closed». I asked him why he didn’t say he truth before, he replied: «no one came in, so we closed early». That’s not professional, to my opinion.

Shawarma is always fresh, and so is the salad bar. The pittas never break while you bite into them. Hence no shawarma on your lap or shirt for that matter, The service is quick, and I like that they take phone orders.

This place was great when they opened and the owner was on site. Went tonight and it was terrible. Ask for well done and I got chicken shawarma that was still white with no caramelization at all. Then they open the pita half way in so they can put as little meat possible. Very disappointing experience.
They use to carry a bigger variety of salad but now there is nothing there.

This small shawarma spot is a gem!!! We had the chicken shawarma with all the fixings: homemade hummus, white sauce, Israeli salad etc. Served with a small plate of help-​your-​self from the salad bar, this sandwich was HUGE so my friend and I split it! DELICIOUS and succulently seasoned! We had it on a laffa and it was juicy, messy and hit the spot! We tried a little bit of the schug which the counter guy appropriately described as «atomic hot sauce.» YIKES!!! The young man behind the counter was so friendly and told us how Ahuva’s Grill Express and their sister restaurant on Mill Rd and Peninsula Blvd, Ahuva’s Grill, make everything from scratch. He was very proud of their hard work to produce the best shawarma possible. I’m not Jewish, but love Middle Eastern food and learning about the culture; and this guy was so generous and knowledgable. Great experience! Definitely my go to place for quality (GLATT KOSHER), delicious food and friendly staff!!!
