Their hours are NOT11 – 3 am. According to whoever I spoke to on the phone, they get in at 3 pm and open to the public at 4 pm. There is absolutely nothing on their website to tell you this. So if you, like I did, decide you would love a pizza for lunch and order it online, you will be sitting around waiting until at least 4. When I called to ask why I hadn’t gotten my pizza, the guy on the phone treated me like an idiot and told me that the hours are wrong on the website because the website is for two locations. It clearly says on the main page«delivery from 11 am — 1 am in Lawrence». Update your website and learn some customer service skills from the Topeka store.

This was my spot. I was here twice a week. The new staff isn’t nice at all. Honestly, they’re down right rude. I see how they treat people in the line and they act like it’s such an inconvenience to make my pizza or Joey Sticks. I don’t even feel comfortable ordering and I’m the guest. I’ll just pass from now on and get Pickleman’s since they are open just as late. Fat Freddy’s is also open late night and has great pizza.

The College Hill Pizza Pub has become my go-to place for a quick pie in Lawrence. After hearing rave reviews from friends about the Topeka location for the past year or so I finally decided to give it a go here in Lawrence a couple months ago. Like another reviewer said, I was mad at myself for waiting so long to try this place out. The pizza is great, and the ingredients seem to be fresh from what I can tell. My only complaints are that they, at times, are a little too generous with the cheese, but the pizza is still wonderful despite that. The parking situation can also be a bit cumbersome for pick-up, but this is Lawrence and I think we are all used to parking woes, especially near and on campus. All in all, a great pie for a very reasonable price.

After we discovered the inflated graduation prices for the Oread’s main restaurants more than our comfort level, we traveled down to College Hill Pizza Pub. What a great discovery. We had a large group and the ability to order individually everyone to get something to his or her liking. The food was great and service equal to the food. An overall great experience.

Staying at the Oread and decided to try the pizza place. We went down and they explained the ordering style. It’s personal 10″ pizzas with TONS of options. After looking over the menu for five minutes or so I decided on a Mexican style pizza. Refried beans as the sauce taco meat jalapeños, and pepper jack cheese. I start my order and right out of the gate we have a problem. It looks like there is mold in the refried beans. The employee prior to putting it on my pizza sees it and goes to his manager to inform her of what he found. I couldn’t hear what they were saying but the next thing you know he is about to try and scoop around the mold. I said no thank you he looked relived. Not to cause a scene I paid for the pizza my wife ordered declined making one for myself and asked for hers to go. When the pizza was ready we threw the pizza in the trash by the elevator(not trusting the quality of service period) and returned to our room.

Took a break from studying in Anschutz last night to walk over to this little pizza joint that sits under the huge Oread hotel. I have heard of this place in the past, but never actually taken a trip over. Let me just say I was pissed at myself for not having gone before. Being a Monday night, I found out that my personal pizza was only 2.50… With a price like that, you would expect your pizza to resemble something picked up from the wheel at 2 am on a Wednesday night. This was not the case at all. When you walk in, you place your order and the staff hand makes your pizza right in front of you. They have a line set up kind of like a subway, in that you can pick and choose from a variety of toppings to create something truly original. I chose to stick to what I knew and ordered a simple pepperoni. We paid and sat down in one of the many booths in the place. Taking a look around I saw that this would be a great place to watch any sort of game, as there are tons of TVs. Our booth even had its own personal TV where the Heat game was playing. Within only a few minutes our names were called and our pizzas were ready, pipping hot, fresh out of the oven. The only down side to the pizza? It was really hot… All the same, some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. A few extra bonus points for the place: 1. They are open until 3AM every night! Perfect for the late night study break. 2. They serve alcohol. Point made. Take a trip on a Monday!

The first time I went here, the staff member who made my pizza called it a «Chipotle-style pizza assembly.» That’s sort of what you get! You walk down an assembly line and choose your sauce, meats, veggies, and cheese. Then the pizza goes in a conveyor belt toaster and comes out 5 minutes later. A 10″ pizza is $ 5(plus tax) and comes with one topping, each after that is 75 cents. There is a huge list of toppings and sauces to choose from. Let me tell you– this place DOESNOTSKIMP on toppings! They totally load you up, no matter what topping you get. I’ve been a few times with people who had ham or pepperoni and they literally cover the entire pizza with those toppings! I really like the roasted red peppers and pineapple. The sauces are also quite good, and they’ll let you mix two for free. The chunky marinara is made in-house(and maybe some others are too?) and is really good. I also like the basil pesto mixed with the alfredo. The staff are REALLY friendly and REALLY seem to like their job! It’s nice to go to a fast(ish) food place where the staff actually enjoys what they are doing. They also know a lot about the ingredients in the food, which I appreciate. They have a lot of TVs in the restaurant, and I think all of the booths have their own TV. They are mostly tuned to sports channels and the staff will change the channel if you ask. The only downside is the crust is a little thin for my liking, but I realize this is a really fast pizza, so it’s perfectly fine for the situation!
