Terra Luna is my spot! Best drinks and food and Latino jams!!! Best calamari I ever did have in my entire life!!! Tilapia! Fish! Yum. New hot spot for me.

Dined at Terra Luna tonight for the first time, and the food was surprisingly really impressive. The patio is really nice too. Service was good too. We will be back!

I finally made it to Terra Luna Café in historic downtown Lawrence. The menu is a blend of Latin, Dominican, and some Italian blended in. We dined on the outdoor patio since it was a beautiful evening. We got drinks(limited beer selections) and no beers on tap :-(we went for cocktails! The app sampler was the way to go! Just get it. It was huge with little Latin sausages, fries, fried cheese, fried chicken, fried plantains, and more. I asked a lot of questions regarding the menu and our server did not seem to be very knowledgeable– as she had to go in several times to find out. I had the red snapper. Its a fried whole fish. I am not a big fish with bones person so I wish it was a fillet but it was not specified. I will go with a montfungo next time. Overall the meal was good. The lighting could have been better outside as it hard to see /eat/read the menu. The prices were good and the portions hearty. I will return again!

I have to say Terra luna is so underrated as it serves great quality food and drinks. Yes I am not gonna lie but service could be a little slow, but no place is perfect, as for me who is a regular and have been coming here for years. I tend to not have this issue. The chef there is a great gentleman, who cooks up a variety of food. For me as a starter I get the garlic shrimp it’s a must try, comes with 4 pcs of toast which is so good to dip in the sauce. I have also tried many times the salmon with mashed potato and fresh vegetables, and as usual the rib eye steak. Prices for the quality of food is on the lower side. Great staff and the owner is always there who is great to see as he is so good with his clients. Terra luna folks is a must try in Lawrence also so surprised not many reviews on this place. Parking is attached to the building and never an issue when inside.

Went to this hip little place on a whim after Jury Duty — as it’s next to the Superior Court House. And what a great place!!! I often say we are short of great places to eat that aren’t expensive. The food was excellent, the service solid, the décor spot on, the owner gracious. I was happy Jury Duty lasted three days as I was psyched to go back each day, and even took a dish to go. A great place w/a Latin twist!

Attended a work luncheon with less then 10 people. The fried seafood platter was delicious and the salmon was delicious. The only reason I wasn’t pleased was due to the service. We waited over an hour for the food. It was embarrassing when we had co-workers in the table waiting. I went again to try it in the evening for drinks. Had two glasses of Cabernet next day I see my credit card charged twice! Not happy. I support local businesses but this is not good for business. Not sure if I will return. Food is over priced Good luck.

LOOOOVETHISPLACE! Great food and the atmosphere is even better. Excellent Hispanic cuisine but they also have awesome American dishes. They have good drinks and a super friendly staff. And after you eat get ready to do some dancing… They have great DJ’s that play everything from Latin to Top 40. A must go to for me when i’m in the Merrimack Valley area.

A nice little spot with outdoor seating and good décor. Went for the appetizers as tapas an it’s a good thing we got 3 for 2 people because they are a bit small. Nice presentation(a bed of greens with each did take up most of the plate) and decent taste. I would be more interested to come back at a later date and enjoy the bar.

Wow. I came to update my review and found I had somehow managed to overlook actually reviewing Terra Luna. Glad I can finally rectify that! I usually go for lunch but apparently haven’t been since they expanded(looks good!). I’ve always enjoyed the food here though I do find some of the dinner prices a bit high, you do get a lot of tasty food for the money. This visit I got the shrimp mofongo. Let me just say that I wish my BF was as rich as the sauce. Super yummy, great presentation, perfectly cooked shrimp. My friend got the churrasco steak. I’m not sure if they didn’t mention it in the menu but she was a bit surprised by the goat cheese in her salad(her loss, my gain). The Dominican appetizer plate was enough for more than the two of us and the dipping sauce was lovely. Tiramasu for dessert — what can I say, they ran out of tres leches cake? Overall quite a little gem in Lawrence.

I don’t normally go out of my way to write a review unless the experience was either terribly bad or unbelievably awesome. In Terra Luna’s case mine was the latter. I can’t believe I live so close to this gem and had not tried it. Everything was delicious from the chicken quesadilla app, to the mojito, the churrasco and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. The ambience is without par in the city. Went with a Living Social voucher to try it and this has now become my fav local spot!!!

This was a very refreshing place for this area. On a world scale it’s a solid 3. But for this area a 4. Food I had was the bruschetta then the Pasta. With two Drinks the bill was around 32 $. The dishes were delicious and the service was Great.

I’ve been here several times(usually at night) for drinks, conversation, and let’s not forget… dancing. This spot is slightly the higher end bar/night scene in Lawrence which is surprisingly refreshing from the rest of the places in that area. Recently, I went to there for dinner and tried the Shrimp Mofongo accompanied with a couple of drinks. DONOTTRY their mojito because it was awful. Their Shrimp Mofongo is okay, not too sure why people are raving about it. The staff gets an A+ for their attentiveness and the location good.

My first visit made me want to go back. Friendly, attentive service and fresh, reasonably priced offerings. I’ll have to go back a few more times and try different things to add to this but, for today, I’ll tell you their caprese salad was pretty fabulous in both taste and presentation. I love the outdoor seating and that they have WiFi. This may not be a big deal to most but, when the main branch of the public library doesn’t have WiFi, I love a breezy option where I can bring my laptop, relax, and enjoy.

So I read the reviews and I was really looking forward to trying Terra Luna with a few friends. We went to the restaurant at 145 yesterday after seeing that they were open at 11, then saw that the sign that said they were open at 2 on weekends so we waited until 230 but sadly it was still closed. Pretty annoying… a sign saying we will be closed would’ve been nice.

I was looking for participating restaurants in the United Dining program and Terra Luna showed up in a local search. I probably would have never found it otherwise, but I’m glad I did. It’s situated right across the Lawrence City Hall and across the street from the public park — great scenic area. Ambience: Modest, but tastefully decorated. Café turns to a bar at night and can hold about 40 – 50 people. Food: I had the tuna melt with waffle fries to go. For $ 5.95 + tax, I can’t complain at all. The sandwich was very good! Service: Two people were working when I arrived for lunch. Pleasant and friendly. Price: $ 7 all-in. Enough said. I’ll be here again. In the summer, this definitely would be a great spot to go to if you don’t want to venture into Boston. The patio set-up outside coupled with a good view of downtown historic Lawrence makes this establishment an enticing choice for a night out.
