Comfort Suites

I will never stay at another Choice Hotel after my recent experience. We made a reservation for Friday, December 11 at the Comfort Suites in Whitsett, NC. To this day, I still have not received a confirmation email from booking directly on the website. Unfortunately due to traffic and traveling with a 4 month old, we would have reached this hotel at 3−4am. We made a good faith attempt to stay with another Comfort Suites in Lawrenceville, GA instead around 12midnight.
The staff here was friendly. However, my wallet was left at this hotel after it fell out of my diaper bag. I received a call on Saturday about this, which was very nice. They said the manager would call me on Sunday about shipping it back to me. I called back several days in a row asking for an update on shipping. The manager never called me back. I finally received an update with the tracking number after another phone call… but this was from a staff member and not the manager. I didn’t expect the cash to be in my wallet when I received it, but it’s just another sign of dishonest and unhelpful staff.

Stayed here over the weekend with a group. Hotel was nice and meet our expectations. Staff was friendly overall, but tried to implement a cancellation rule that was not listed on their website for one of our rooms. During our stay we did have a room whose door was not staying closed. The staff got us moved with no problem and kept them near the group. Overall, good stay and would stay here again.
