This is our first trip to this location. Service was very good as well as speed of food being delivered to our table. My main issue is the food. My food was very bland. The burger had no seasoning on it and my broccoli was cooked to death. Maybe it was because I came in at 10:20pm, 40 minutes below closing? But shouldn’t food quality be the same from opening to close? I’ve worked for restaurants in my youth and we used to close down early too, I get that. However, the extend of closing the kitchen down was certain food items would not be possible to make, not make something less than 100% the same from if you it at opening day. Again, service and speed was good, just work on your seasonings and I’ll come here instead of driving all the way back to Buford location.

We went to this LongHorn on a trip back from Athens to Atlanta with a large group ~30 Teenagers and Adults on a Saturday night arriving at ~6pm. We called ahead when leaving Athens and they said they would get our table ready for us in a separate room before we arrived. We showed up a little bit early and had to wait 10 – 15 minutes for the last customer to finish and them to clean/reset the table. We were assigned two waiters and they were very pleasant and efficient getting out drink and food orders. The food was ehh not really impressed kind or the same old same old LongHorn fare, bland and not worth the price you pay. When we went to check out, everyone was paying separately which they were told when we arrived, it took FOREVER to leave. They set themselves up at a POS station and asked us to file out one by one as if they were a diner with the cash register at the front counter. Then the POS terminal they were using crashed and they had to run all of the credit cards to another POS on the far side of the Bar which took forever. Paying our checks took almost as long as the whole dinner! I have taken this and other large groups to other full serve restaurants and we have NEVER had this type of check out experience.

We are usually a fan of Longhorn, but this was our first time at this location. When we called ahead to put our name in the waiting list, we should have known better than to continue on. I guess the restaurant was so loud that she couldn’t hear us at all. The thing that put me off was when she screamed«WHAT?!» at me. I’ve worked in customer service for a long time and the proper response is «I’m sorry?» or «Could you repeat that again?» Arriving at the restaurant was fine, we saved 10 minutes on our wait by calling ahead and the hostess was kind. One of the managers sat us and was kind as well. Our waitress was even courteous. Overall, the quality of food was poor though. I asked for balsamic dressing on my house salad, and while I believe they were serving me their balsamic, it wasn’t traditional tasting. My husband ordered a long Island iced tea with no tequila, but the no tequila part was not specified on his second order. The worst part was the prime rib. We ordered a rare 20 oz., and received something that was at least 95% cooked medium. It was tough and flavorless, almost no marbling throughout. Perhaps if we had ordered a rare ribeye as we usually do, the experience could have been saved. But considering that the prime rib was the worst we’ve ever had, I can’t justify more than 1 star.

Coming from take out service, I’ve never had bad service at this LongHorn Steakhouse, and take out will be the focus of this review. I have called ahead, was given the time(approximately 15 minutes), and my food has been ready in about 15 minutes. The online order system is pretty useful too, so points for not being late on my orders. Customer service can be hit or miss just from getting the attention of a server or the bartender, although my visit today on a Tuesday afternoon got me in and out in under 5 minutes, with a cheerful server to boot. If you’ve eaten at LongHorn Steakhouse before, you know exactly what you’re getting. In this order, I got a 6 oz renegade steak, which came with a side salad and 1 side(or 2 sides if you don’t want the salad), for $ 11.99. Big honking piece of bread comes with it on the free if you’re a carb lover. Located along Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, Directly across from Home Depot, it’s pretty easy to get in, but depending on the time of day, getting back out onto Lawrenceville-Suwanee can be a pain. Parking can get crowded on the weekends, but there’s never been a time when I couldn’t find a spot. For chain restaurants, you really just want consistency, customer service and convenience. LongHorn Steakhouse does all three, and is always worth a visit.

This was one of the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It literally took our server 10 minutes to get to our table and when she did get to our table all she said was«y’all ready to order your drinks». Then it took her an extra three minutes to get our drinks to our table and when I asked about beer list and about beers she said she knew nothing about it. So I just asked for a bottle beer. I’ve never had a server sit right next to me and get into my personal space and ask me what I want to eat and annoy me about something to pick. I can honestly say that I will never come back to this location ever again. I will go out of my way if I need to go to Longhorn again to go to another location. I get it that the restaurant looked busy but at the same time you guys need to acknowledge your guests and make sure that your servers are giving the right type of service. Even though we had a terrible experience we made sure to tip the server at least 30% tip and we were served at table 12.

As a former bartender usually I am more forgiving than most because I understand what its like being in the weeds and doing all you can do to make your guests happy, but after this experience I can say that I will never return to this location and maybe this concept in general. Once we arrived to Longhorn my boyfriend went it to secure the seats at the bar while I parked. I met him inside, and then a couple sat to our left a few mintutes after I sat down and down. We had no drinks, no menus, and had not be acknowledged. Suprisingly, the couple that arrived after I sat down was greeted before us AND receivied drinks before we were greeted. Once it was time to order the bartender came and took everyones order on our side of the bar at the same time. Somehow, everyone but us was offered and received bread. We never did. I ordered a draft beer and noticed there was no dishwasher for bar glasses. They use the sanitize and rinse method, which is cool for some people and I know is common is some bars, but I am not a fan striclty because at least with a dishwasher the rinse is drained after every use. Who knows how long they had been using that same rinse. The bartender noticed that I was not pleased with this and offered to buy me a miller lite in the bottle, however when the bill came I was charged for it. By no suprise the manager brought out our food, I knew he was waiting on us to voice our concerns, but as a PROFESSIONAL in the HOSPITALITY industry, he should have been the one to address it first, as im certain the bartender told him we were not having a great experience. It is his job to keep his head on a swivel and ADDRESS and resolve conflict, especially when he already knows what is going on. The only reason I am rating this location two stars is because the two bartenders were trying to make good things happen, they just fell short. They were constantly moving and kept a smile on their faces, and for that, they receive two stars.

After a couple of weeks in the area, several trips to longhorns, I can finally rewrite my review Perfection! Ask for Lori! She will make darn sure your food is EXACTLY the way you want it and you couldn’t ask for better, friendlier, or more professional service. Y’all finally knocked it out of the Park!

We had a great experience here tonight. The specials tonight included two meals for $ 29.99 so one of the couples in our party ordered it. They received two salads so they got one house salad and one cesear. Both were fresh but basic. They ordered the salmon and mushroom steak and enjoyed both of them. We shared the prime rib steak and ordered it rare. The meat was perfect and tender. It came with two flavorful sauces and came with a side(we chose the fries and they were also wonderful). Instead of getting the house salad we decided to pay an extra $ 1.59 for an upgraded salad. We were so glad we did. The salad had more lettuce than the regular salad and had fresh tomatoes, yummy fresh warm croutons, and flavorful bacon. The service was satisfactory and basic. No recommendations or extra service outside of taking the order, but pleasant.

We have gone here for Christmas parties, and I’ve been here with my family for dinner. The service here is very good. Waiters and waitresses are very quick and knowledgeable about their product. The entrées are usually very tasty and I’ve always enjoyed the steaks here. This is by no means the most delicious food I’ve had but they do serve very moist and flavorful steaks. No complaints about this location.

OK, a holiday weekend so I guess I need to understand that they would be short staffed. 30 – 40 minute wait while I counted 10 empty tables that I observed. We were finally seated at one of the ones I had counted, they must have been waiting for the server or additional kitchen staff. We were there by around 5pm. Once seated however everything went just fine. The parmason crusted chicken was the most tender and flavorful. Sirloin and filet both cooked exactly as ordered which is becoming less of something to count on. The brie salad was reported good. Burgers also seemed to be what the folks ordering those had expected. Chicken fingers looked nice and plentiful. Angel was our server and did a great job, the mgr stopped by and freshened our beverages and ice as well. All in all a very enjoyable meal.

Not going to lie, still waiting for my steak sauce to get to my table. THESERVICEHEREISHORRENDOUS!!! And of course, its just a Longhorns, so they obviously don’t make up for their lack of service with food quality. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find my steak was actually cooked to order, but still I need steak sauce to eat it… WHICHNEVERCAMETOMYTABLE!!! There are so many other restaurants in the area, so DOYOURSELF A FAVORANDPICKANOTHERONE!!!

My last experience here was pretty interesting. My mother was visiting from out of town I took her in my father and my wife and my son to eat here. The service was great the steak was awesome so juicy so so so juicy. What was interesting is the way the staff treats you even with a small child. My son was getting very restless and it was a little past his bedtime so he was starting to go a little crazy he didn’t eat much he’s very picky eater he actually started to pull his shirt above his head like cornholio. My son is only two and 8 months old, three in December. He went into Godzilla mode and threw a plate off the table and the staff noticed it they didn’t pick it up right away but they brought him cookies. She was an older lady very nice. To top it off it got crazier he threw a cup of water in a glass off the table as well. I got a little frustrated and decided to just take him for a walk around the restaurant and that same lady walked up to him and gave him more cookies. I was so happy they were there.

What can I say. It’s a chain steakhouse so it will be hit or miss Most of the reviews are accurate. The value for the money is okay. And the food is good for what you pay. It’s best to go in when you have a coupon for signing up for the rewards program. With any chain restaurant on Friday or Saturday night it can be the worst time to eat. Don’t expect fast service or food to be cooked properly most of the time The sirloin steak is very average. It was kind of tough to cut. Outback sirloin it’s a lot better and more flavorful and tender And they intend to precook vegetables and other things which make the quality go down
