Definitely have to get the wings!

Between the food and the service, I cannot discern what is worse.
My friend and I came here for lunch one Saturday afternoon after golf. The place was entirely empty so we were sat immediately, which got us excited because we thought we’d get in, eat, and get out fairly quick. NOPE. The entire process took a little over an hour and a half. We sat waiting for 15 for someone to come by for our order, 45 minutes for our chicken tenders and fries, 15 minutes to eat, and another 15 for our check.
On top of that, our chicken tenders had an odd, almost spoiled taste to them. The breading was way over-​seasoned and the chicken itself was like chewing on pencil erasers– so dry.
3 stars after dark
I give the tap selection 5 stars– easily has the best and most selections in town.
I have to ding it though for two reasons: 1) the bar is a smoking bar, and there’s a constant cloud of smoke lingering and making it difficult to breathe. Also, you reek of cigarettes upon leaving– hair, skin, clothes, you name it. 2) it is definitely a rowdy bar with a lot of people getting sloppy.
Overall, it averages to a 2-​star establishment that I will never eat at again, but would definitely grab a couple brews at before the party begins

Lots of pretty tasty food for the price. We went as a family with 2 small kids and everyone enjoyed their food. My wife’s order of wings were larger than stated in the menu.

Service was good, very attentive servers they worked together. Never had to request a refill. Our server had a few tables but was able to interact well with each. The food was o. k nothing to brag about but because of previous post I was a little reluctant to finish my meal. I ordered lemon wings extra crispy. My company ordered a chicken philly it was good. No complaints overall, typical bar food.

I was served spoiled chicken and the manager thought it was no big deal, he did not even try and keep us from leaving. I will NEVER eat there again.

Service was excellent. Not only do I arrive at 1:00am in the morning, but the servers were very welcoming even though it’s late and places like this usually just serve drinks. Sometimes places like this only cater to the people drinking so it was refreshing to go into a place where you feel welcome. The prices for drinks and even the selection surprised me. A lot of different beers on draft and this is a local spot very close to my residence. I have to warn you that they are snapping with their food selection. For those who do not know what «snapping» is…; when the food is very good and you could snap your fingers to the food or bang ur fist on the table a few times cause it’s soo good. Haha I half kind of made that up but. Seriously, the food is awesome. From sandwiches to burgers to wings, tenders, fries, tots, salads, appetizers, pastas, and even desserts. The best kind of each category to be honest. Their selection choice is pristine. The price makes the whole experience even better. You’re looking at about 8 $ average price for a appetizer and still under 10 $ for a dinner course in any category. The bar was set pretty high tonight for me, but no doubt this will be my late night hangout where I can drink and see the game or even pull up with some homies and grab some food after a late night studio session. I’m beyond satisfied!

I travel a lot and always look for local, independent businesses. Very friendly staff, great beer selection, good food and all local customers. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.

They have great wings at Tooey’s, they have a lot to choose from their menu. The atmosphere is very casual and non pretentious.

We are here now for lunch. There is one other table of two. It took our server almost 9 minutes to come take our drink order. Then we didnt see her for about 15 minutes. She moves like the walking dead. Food is good, but lunch staff sucks!
Update, didn’t see her after the food arrived for another 10 – 15 minutes. Asked for extra dressing, got it about 8 minutes later. Some people just don’t need to be servers.
We eat here 2 – 3 times a week, mostly happy with food. Tender melt and chef’s salads are underrated good food! Wings are big and always good…

Came on a Wednesday for a stiff drink. Not to my liking for many reasons but to name a few: zero customer service, nasty tables & floors, a waitress never came by our table so we ordered at the bar. smoked out! The end

Great time with great friends! The layout was a little confusing getting to the billiards/​game area, but not bad overall. Pretty good selection of bottle beers and generous shot pours. Didn’t try the food, but was very pleased with the service from the bartender away from the bar.

Tooeys throughout the years has become my cheers! We love it and the staff rocks! James is the best! Matt as well! I recommend the wings and the wraps

Against my husband and my better judgment we decided to try Tooey’s for the second time. It’s close to home and we were in the mood for wings. Just to make sure that our wings were completely cooked, I made sure to state that we wanted the wings extra crispy and we’ll done. However, after waiting 30 mins as directed our wings were enedible and half of them were still raw! Obviously they don’t understand that a jumbo wing takes longer to cook than a party wing! What a total waste of money and hoping to avoid possible food poisoning from raw chicken.

Today was my first trip. The food was above average for a bar and grill. Most of the existing negative comments on Unilocal are related to customer service. However, we had great service today. Very friendly staff. Our server, Rachel, was exceptional. I had some questions regarding beers and the bartender made a personal visit to our table to discuss beer options. I will definitely return.
Update:… and I did return. I had the same experience. Average food, great drink selection and great service.

Service might be a little slow but the food is good. the prices aren’t too bad either.

Love this place. Wings and nachos are great. It’s like your neighborhood eating joint. Comes every Friday

I’m just gonna say don’t go here. Service was slow. Food was slow even with an empty restaurant. Workers here don’t care about there job apparently and place and bathroom is dirty

Food wise it’s good — my boyfriend and I go solely for the wings and not much else, so we can really only speak for the wings. They’re tasty, and the ranch is amazing. In fact, the only thing bringing us back are the wings.
With that being said, the biggest downfall is the awful service. I’ve been during down times, typically only one (if any) other table besides mine. It once took 15 minutes for the server to realize we were even there. When they do finally decide to wait on your table, their visits are few and far between. It’s essentially, «What do you want?»…“Here’s your food.” and that about covers it. The waitresses are not the friendliest — they must be relying on another form of income, because it definitely isn’t the tips they get from their lack of service. Last visit was today, when my boyfriend literally had to hunt down our waitress after waiting for 20 minutes for our check and a box. Not a fan.
Wish management would take a hint and find some happier servers — not everyone is cut out for the job, and the right person can make or break the dining experience.

Not a fancy establishment to be sure, but friendly staff, good burgers and great beer selection.

I frequent here every week and sometimes twice.
The atmosphere is homey and the food is always hot and fresh at 1PM or 1AM. The service can be sketchy on busy nights and you can be accidentally overlooked in the dining room. In the main bar area smoking is allowed but it is usually packed. Personally, I don’t smoke and am not looking to cavort with strangers. If you want to wait the 5 – 10 minutes, on a prime night, the service and quiet are worth it.
Mostly, under staffing for weekends seems to be the problem. I really do love this place for any great American bar food. The wings are fantastic with their (in-​house made) ranch and blue cheese. The food is not as decorated as a chain restaurant’s might be but everything is good.
If you are up for a unpretentious and relaxing bar experience this is the place.
