This company was used to move a 2 bed 1 bath apartment from Enid to Lawton, OK. Overall the packers were nice and appeared to do a good job of packing as did the movers who picked up my HHG. However once the HHG arrived many of the pieces had scratches or were otherwise damaged. Luckily I was able to fix the majority of the damage. However I did put a claim in for 4 pieces of furniture. My biggest point of contention was a portable kitchen island with a stone top. When they received the island there was a chip of the stone top broken off. It was a defect from the factory but it was not noticeable and did not affect its use. When I received the piece back the stone top could no longer be attached to the frame, the main support leg was cracked and all the catering wheels were missing. They are using the rationale that since there was a chip on the stone top to begin with that they would only reimburse me for 50% of the purchase price. Several emails and phone calls have been made with no luck. I am overall very unhappy with the move and the quality of their customer service. If this company is used based on my experience you HHG will be damaged and they will do their best to not reimburse you for the loss.

Affiliated Van Lines of Lawton recently packed and moved me. I cannot overstate how much I was dreading this move, but Affiliated Van Lines made it super simple. The ladies who packed my stuff were great — very professional with great attitudes. I can’t say that I would be on their par if the roles were reversed. Yes, the Army chose who my movers were, but I know you can make a request at transportation (if you have a preference). If I had to choose my movers, I would request Affiliated Van Lines.
Affiliated Van Lines also offers one of two places in Lawton to weigh your vehicle for a DITY move. The scales are right across from their office building on 2121 SW Washington. Super easy to weigh and the ladies were very nice in the office. $ 12 per vehicle or $ 15 for two vehicles.
