Great local burger joint. The kind that we all should frequent instead of chains. Great burger. The bun was exceptional. Across the street was a car meet up with lots of cool cars: Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers… Support local businesses!

This place is a local fast food joint, their breakfast is supposed to be great too, but we only able to make it here for lunch. The inside was in better shape than outside, and they maintained a quite retro feel to it with white, red, and black color décors. I tried a few things off their menu. The fish and chips seem went downhill from what others had described, the breading was a bit too thick, and it was overly greasy inside as well. Fries were ok. The Philly cheesesteak probably should probably change the name, since it was just a few diced green peppers with nearly dried meat resembling beef jerky. Tater tots were ok here. I also tried their shake, it was your style shakes, not many flavors to choose from, and the flavors came from syrups mostly. I guess Burger Stop could be a cool place to check out if you are looking for a classic local fast food experience. Service was ok here, as most of the workers are teenagers ranging from high schoolers to recent graduates. Military and seniors, as well as employee friends, get discount here.

These guys are awesome! Super friendly from the moment we walked in the door. We listen to other customers order and the guy working the register was extremely helpful when people asked for suggestions. Food was great and quick. Highly recommend this place.

I was in the area for my lunch break on a weekday and decided to give this place a try. In the past I thought it was just ok but today I really loved it. I ordered the single bacon burger with tots and a drink. The wait time was average, I thought. The buger was really juicy today and the bacon was good as well. I believe the bacon makes the burger stand out. Good size pieces. The tots were perfectly crispy and really tasty, dipping them in fry sauce is the best. They gave me 2 of the larger containers and only used 1 so they don’t skimp on that. I think they gave me diet coke instead of coke though. Worth trying again to see if this one visit was a fluke.

Great local joint. Your traditional fast-food burger restaurant. What I love about this place: 1.) The Décor 2.) The Deuce Challenge 3.) Community Involvement

I went wroth my husband last night for the first time and I was so impressed! I had the mushroom swiss burger with fries and the burger was so moist and the bun was so soft! It had the perfect amount of mushrooms on it as well! The fries were crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside! My husband had the turkey avocado sandwich and my daughter had a jr bacon cheeseburger and they were both very happy! We ended the meal with a grasshopper milkshake to split and it was so creamy! It is now my favorite shake place! The customer service was remarkable and I wish I would of got the name of the girl at the counter and the guy that checked on us as well so they could have recognition! I can’t wait to go back and try their fish and chips that the couple next to us had! Thank you !!

I love this place. I normally go for breakfast. I always laugh at the people lined up outside Sill’s when there is no line at Burger Stop. I like Sill’s but Burger Stop doesn’t put fake cheese on my eggs… hate that. Gravy could improve from the quick mix. I love the fried chicken breakfast and the strawberry pancakes!

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Cheese cost extra, I paid for the cheese and didn’t receive it on my burger. I told the cashier and she said they’d remake it. By the time my party finished their food and other patrons who came in after me were sitting down and eating I figured they might have forgotten my burger. The female cashier did forget to tell the kitchen staff to remake my order, no big deal but when I asked for a refund rather than taking responsibility for her mistake she told her manager«I don’t know she’s not happy with her burger!» She should have told her manager she forgot to remake my burger! I’m seven months pregnant no I don’t want a shake I want sustenance. The manager is really apologetic and returning my money while the female cashier is lying to the guy in the back who is making the food telling him«I told her it was coming out and you had 3 burgers in front of hers!!» The cook responds to her by saying that I’m over reacting because they’re not a fine dining establishment… OBVIOUSLY I DIDNTCOMEFORFINEDINING, I came for a burger with cheese, I didn’t realize I was asking for so much! How unprofessional to be making those comments in front of a guest. What a let down burger stop.

Love this place but was let down today! Classic case of should be working at McDonald’s.. . Apparently he thought I said hold the cheese and the lettuce, just the lettuce man just the lettuce! Also somehow he ordered a Sprite for me. I’m not hard to wait on just try to listen! Some people don’t have time to deal with your mistakes! However seriously best burgers in Utah, maybe even the world!!! Highly recommend to anyone!

Servers were friendly, food was fast, Tasty and filling. They’ve got some huge burgers here to try that I could never finish such as the Spare Tire. It has a 50’s vibe to it with the décor. Overall I’m glad we stopped at The Burger Stop:-)

50’s diner look and menu. The food is decent. Decent shakes, decent burgers. Keep in mind, you are deep in the heart of Davis County, so it won’t be gourmet. But it’s decent. Portions are decent. Service is always excellent.

Get a burger, first the rest. Double cheese burger, fries, Oreo+caramel shake. Fries were ok, not a lot of them and they didn’t have any salt. They seemed fresh enough. Just pass on the shake. The ice cream, and I’m being liberal with that word here, is sub par. Toppings were somehow bland and also sparce. Burger was a win! Tasty bacon, classic cheesiness, fresh grilled burger patties. The tomato tasted fresh, lettuce was soggy, but at least there wasn’t much of it. Come for the burger combo meal, throw away the combo and just eat the burger.

I’ve only really eaten here at breakfast time as a caveat, but their breakfast is on point. The portions are hearty and large for the price and so so good. I usually get the crossfire omelette with chicken or the chicken breakfast burrito. It’s a great way to start a road trip. My friends swear by their milkshakes too. The varieties on their milkshakes are vast. All around great food. You can’t go wrong with Burger Stop.

Wow, what a burger! Came here for the first time and snatched up a pastrami burger. My dude got the bacon cheeseburger. Both were fantastic! Didn’t really know what to expect, but hey, it’s the same price as going to any fast food restaurant. So we took a chance and we’re so glad we did! If you’re feeling a traditional, ‘Grease-era’ diner, this is definitely a place you should be.

Shakes were good but disappointed in the burgers with little flavor, plastic cheese and buns that didn’t hold it together. Decorated fun 50s style.

Very good fish and chips for a fast food joint. Friday has $ 5.99 two piece special which is a deal. The owner told me the use fresh cod and batter themselves, which believe do to the quality.

It’s cleaner on the inside! I’ve only ever done the drive-thru at Burger Stop, & I wasn’t that impressed. It’s especially annoying that they will only let you use one coupon per visit. Those were my reasons for not wanting to stop here, when my sister suggested it. But I got over it, and was shocked(in a good way!) when I stepped inside, & found it to be far less run-down than I was expecting it to be. Their ice cream treats are amazing! Superior to Arctic Circle, in every way. My husband’s cookie dough shake was literally a cup filled halfway with ice cream, and the other half cookie dough. They don’t skimp on ingredients or portion sizes! My kids ordered the dirt-cup sundaes. Again, huge! Compared to a place like Crown Burger, Burger Stop’s menu is minuscule. They don’t have a large variety of offerings. However, their prices are a lot lower. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger combo. Their fries are that«fat» kind, and were cooked just the way I like them. The burger was OK. Not great. And my lime Rickey drink was perfect. 2 out of 3. And it didn’t break the bank, to eat there.

Love this place. My husband loves the burgers, I love their sandwiches and our children love the kids meals. The dirt and worm sundae is AMAZING and worth the price.

The fish and chips are excellent. The hamburgers are horrible. They taste like frozen thawed and refrozen. Get the fish and chips. You won’t find better in Utah.

The counter girl could have used a good solid re-training, but that is my only complaint about this place. I love the old malt shoppe theme and the car stuff decorating nearly everything. This place is clearly into cars, so it was a very nice space to spend time in. They also had a challenge burger, which I debated, as I thought it was pretty workable, but ultimately decided to give the arteries a pass… for now… sort of. The décor is not the only thing throwback here. This is one of the most moderately priced lunch places I’ve seen in a while. You can substitute, for instance, fried mushrooms for fries at no extra charge. Find me anywhere else where you can do that. Now, bit of a downside here, but the mushrooms weren’t very good fried, but you do get a significant amount of them. The burger itself was a very solid affair. Good tasting patty, decently cooked bacon, very nice fried jalapenos and the mushrooms here were slightly better. This was a very satisfying burger, overall, though I think they should have an option to either get the fried jalapenos as a side dish or a mechanism to double or triple the amount on the burger. Place was also pretty clean, which is a nice bonus, but there were some eclectic touches, such as no ketchup pump, but a pile of packets. I greatly enjoyed my time here and had they had Coke Zero on tap, this would have been borderline perfect. As it is, I think this one is right around the corner from being added to my regular lunch rotation list, especially given how easy the freeway access is from here.
