Fair price, lower 1⁄3 of estimates, GREAT job, many suggestions about details that made a huge difference in the quality outcome of the project. My wife has dealt with many small contractors in her work as an apartment manager and she was highly impressed with all aspects of his work.

We moved into a house that had a pool and the previous owner thought they would eventually make some sort of garden in the corner of the yard and had about a dozen large boulders from when they dug the hole for the pool laid in half circle in the corner. The largest rock was probably 5’x6’x1.5′. No garden was ever created and we moved in with a 20’x20’ portion of our yard wasted. When we decided we were going to replace our fence I was on a mission to find someone with a Bobcat or Skid Steer to removed those rocks. It turned out to be quite the task. I needed it for a specific day about two weeks out since that was the day the fence would be down. I almost gave up after calling dozens of businesses with no response but then found this business — no reviews anywhere to be found. I left a message like I did with the other businesses I had called, not expecting even a response. In less than an hour Mitch called back. He asked all the right questions about how to access the yard and even said he’d take care of getting someone with a dumpster. He said text him the address and to call back a couple days before to confirm time. I did just that and he reassured me he’d get those rocks out of there and haul them off. The day of he called when he was on his way which is always nice. The only hiccup was my lawn mowers arrived at the exact same time but Mitch was a pro and worked around them. He did his best to minimized damage to my grass too. In less than 30 minutes it was all done and I had a much larger useable portion of my yard. These days it seems you don’t know what you’ll get from the a posting on the internet. Anyone can list their business or make a CL posting for their service and seem to really want your business and then never even respond. I rarely take chances on unreviewed businesses but Mitch at Hill Country Bobcat has left me with a positive outlook on taking a chance every now and then. I would recommend him for your project no matter how big or small.
