Subway

To the Manager of the Subway on 183 in Leander…
I’ve been here several times and have always enjoyed good service and quality sandwiches. However this time I had the displeasure of meeting a pierce-​lipped punk by the name of Ashton.
After waiting in line for 15 minutes, he was about to take my order when the door opened behind me and he said, ‘Welcome to Subway’ as is customary. However, he immediately followed it with, ‘I don’t serve cops.‘
I gave him the coldest stare I could and said, ‘Excuse me!‘
I turned to look behind me and saw 3 firemen from the Leander Fire Department standing in the back of the line. His co-​worker informed him they were firemen, not cops and he said that was different.
Now I’m not a police officer but I’ve worked with them and know several personally and you won’t find a finer person than someone who serves in uniform, regardless of which force they serve on, civilian or military, so I’m not about to let a punk like him serve me.
I shook my head and told him his attitude sucked. I turned and walked out but not before I stopped and let the firemen know what he had said.
Christina, thank you for coming out after me and apologizing for his behavior. I’ll be back thanks to your efforts. I appreciate your offer to make me a sandwich free of charge but I’d rather you pass that on to the next police officer that visits your place.
Ashton, one of these days when you grow up and become a man, you may find yourself in need of police assistance. Seeing how you’re starting out, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn you’ve already met some. I just hope for your sake they never say the same thing about serving you.

I must always go in at the right time because we have never had an issue at this location.
They seem to always be training someone new. Not surprising. Most of their employees are older high school kids and I can only imagine what a revolving door that is.
They aren’t the fastest but I’ve never felt like it was overly slow.
Anyway it’s a Subway. It’s good stuff. If you want a sandwich in two minutes, Subway is not the place to go.
Ashley is the best sandwich maker there.

Slowest employees ever. If they were less interested in having their girlfriends in the restaurant and a little more interested in making sandwiches it would be better. They did not even cut the footling in half after finishing.
Food quality is fine but they are not quick.
