Vortex Martial Arts

My kids started at Vortex this past summer for the summer program. They loved it so much they now attend the after school program. They have so much more confidence and self control. The staff are all absolutely wonderful. They take a genuine interest in YOUR child. I could not have found a better place or group of people.

My daughter has been going to Vortex for about 2 years now and loves it! Not only the amazing staff, who have the perfect balance of teacher and care, but everyone there is fantastic and helpful.

My daughters have been with Kyoshi since he started here in Texas and I can say that he has provided everything he said he would and more. They are both more confident, stronger, and more prepared for the real world then I could have ever done on my own. He is a great role model and someone who has decades in not just the martial arts but in the martial arts and how it pertains to making stronger kids. I have met most of the staff from his other dojo, and I can say that if this dojo grows as well as that one, then the Leander area will feel the positive impact that he and Ms. Tracy bring. She adds an extra element with the addition of lifestyle changes for adults with cardio and has been great in bringing in outside instructors for daytime classes for a Boot Camp style and even Yoga.
They have partnered with other local business to provide benefits that one would not even begin to expect from a martial arts class, and the after school program is very helpful. I know that some people want the negative, and I truly cannot find any, other than something that is more positive and say that sometimes he does so much, that he neglects himself. The Maczuga family are people that I count as friends and as my mom used to say ‘good people to know’.
Whether you have kids cut from stone or kids who need a little extra self confidence, you should check out this school. He works with everyone to provide the benefits needed for the community and that is the most important thing of all.
