Terrible customer service,
I purchased a Living Social deal to stay here for 2 nights Sun-​Thurs with one night being free through the deal. At the time of purchase we were not able to book because they were all booked up due to others who purchased the same deal already having made reservations. No big deal. We decided to wait until after the busy winter season and try again. Well some life circumstances changed and we no longer have such open availability on weekdays. I know that the paid value of a Living Social voucher is good as a gift card toward whichever merchant it was purchased for. I called and asked if I could apply the $ 199 that I paid to stay on weekend night. I was told no THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT THE PAID VALUE ON A WEEKEND, EVER. This didn’t make sense. I paid a real $ 199 cash money for this. How is my money any less valuable on a weekend? I was not ever given a reason why this would not work. I was talked to like a child and told that maybe me and my husband would have to use a couple vacation days to come down.
Do not ever buy a Living Social or Groupon deal from them. Once they have your money you are treated as a second class citizen.

We found this quaint place with a search on Google in Mar of 2011. We booked two nights for our anniversary weekend. I had to call a few times to make small changes to our reservation and the woman, owner, was so helpful and nice. She was funny and helped me with each request and made sure we had everything we needed to complete the reservation.
We we drops up to the location of the suites we thought it a bit weird that it was in the middle of a neighborhood, but don’t let that or the décor of the outside throw you off! We stayed in the Alpenshire room and it was great! In room there is a tv, fireplace, good size bathroom and table with wine or cider and chocolates. Best of all though is the in room sauna! It is so relaxing!!!
There is a private hot tub just a few steps from your door, but we sadly couldn’t stay in. The chlorine was so strong that we couldn’t breathe and it actually oxidized my wedding rings! And no, they are not cheap rings! Thank God for a good lifetime Kay jeweler warranty because it took 3 weeks before I got them back clean!
I did talk to the manager about the amount of chlorine in the water and she explained about health codes etc. I appreciated that, but be careful! Don’t risk your health! Enjoy the sauna instead if it’s too strong… Because it is awesome! (the chlorine problem is the only reason I’m not giving his place 5 stars).
Overall our two days wee well spent and we had any amazing anniversary stay. The room was very clean and the staff was more than helpful! This is our new anniversary tradition!

We really enjoyed our stay there. We came for our anniversary and there was a vase with flowers and apple cider in the wine chiller waiting for us. It would be even nicer to come in the winter with the sauna in the room, fireplace, and hot tubs outside. We were able to walk downtown to dinner. It was very quiet the whole time; very intimate setting. We’ll definitely come back some time in the winter.
