Vivian was a wonderful host. Very knowledgeable and hospitable. $ 5 Wine Tasting Fee per person. Fee is waived however if you buy 2 bottles of wine. There are quite a lot of wine tasting establishments in Leavenworth. We tried several but this was by far our favorite for several reasons– best selection, beautiful bar and setting, and warm hospitality. This was also the best because they have an assortment of French and Spaniard wines from Europe that are unique and hard to find. If you’re looking to purchase wine, it’s reasonably pricey. But that’s what you get with quality wines. My fiancé and I were happy to purchase though because most dinner places throughout town are BYOB.

Stopped in here first for my afternoon of wine tasting and had a good time. Was visiting Leavenworth for a Bridge tournament and decided to take the afternoon off, when she heard that some other businesses had been involved she gave me 10%discount on the wine I bought. Wines were good and she was very engaging and knowledgeable.

Our friends decided to take a weekend trip to Leavenworth for some fun, wine, snowboarding and more fun! We stopped by Ryan Patrick to try some wines based on a recommendation from another friend. We were helped by a woman named Vivian. She was so helpful in describing the wines. She also was a great help providing some recommendations to restaurants in the area. So nice of her! The wine was absolutely fantastic. Our favorite was Rebel(red wine). I highly recommend this. It was so good that we bought a bottle to take home. Once we got home we opened it the next day to have with some pulled pork tacos. It was absolutely delicious, almost creamy and goes down so smooth. I highly recommend this wine. So BIG thanks to Vivian for being such a great help during our visit! We look forward to coming back! :)

What a great tasting room. The sommelier working was knowledgable and fun to chat with. The Riesling was my favorite, but their un-oaked Chardonnay was pleasantly tasty too. It also has a super affordable price tag! Just to throw it out there Chardonnay is my least favorite wine. Actually I hate it most of the time, but Ryan Patrick’s Chardonnay is nice, clear and well balanced. Random suggestion: This is a great option to order for a wedding or large party. It seems a lot of people always end up getting bad Chardonnay because it’s cheap, affordable and they don’t know good from bad. For only $ 10 a bottle, Ryan Patrick is the way to go. You can impress your guests with good taste and not have to break the bank. Shelf life is about 4 – 5 days for opened bottles, which is awesome. This tasting room is one of the better, classic style tasting rooms in Leavenworth IMHO.

Some of the better wines I had in this little German-esque town were at Ryan Patrick, but my experience was soured by a rather rude man pouring them. I am curious if he’s the same person another reviewer complained about. Our specific wine pourer was a charming lady and I very much wanted to give her my business, but when she asked him his thoughts on a question I asked, he rudely waved me off and said«Just Google it». He proceeded to say it again to me a few minutes later. I’m sure to never return to this place. And sir, please«Google this».

I have been drinking Ryan Patrick for years. Rock Island Red is a great everyday table wine and the Naked Chardonney is my favorite. I have never had any trouble with small tastings or a snobby server in the tasting room, but I tend to go to Leavenworth when it is likely to be less busy, since we live within 50 miles. Check Costco in Wenatchee, as they carry both of these wines.

The pourer was snobby. The wines were mediocore and overpriced. The barbera was the best but too expensive for a bottle.

I had SUCH a great experience at Ryan Patrick! My girlfriend and I had some time to kill in Leavenworth, and she had tried Ryan Patrick before and suggested we go in for a tasting. I will agree with Wes that they pours are a bit small — I believe you get 4 pours for $ 5. Not only was the wine tasty, the woman working there at the time was fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful, you could tell she truly enjoyed her job. We were the only two in the tasting room at the time, so she had a little bit more time to devote to us. When we started tasting reds, she turned to us and asked if we were up for an adventure… well duh, of course we were! She told us to follow her next door to the butcher shop — and grabbed us a few samples of meats that would pair perfectly and ran us back to the shop to try the wine with our new finds. She was 100% right and I was amazed she took to the time to take us over there. The naked Chardonnay is great(and I am not a fan usually) and their Rose is also great(and a great value). If you’re in Leavenworth, I definitely recommend a stop in here.

Right off the bat I’m taking a star off. Not for the wine, but for the ridiculous size of the pours they serve up during a tasting. One itsy-bitsy sip and your done. Do recommend the«naked chardonnay» though. And the«Rock Island Red» blend is worthwhile too. But if you’re paying for a tasting they need to be a bit more generous.
